SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

This 👇 '... these (AI search) studies grades a brand channel with a traffic ruler. The equivalent of judging a Super Bowl spot by its click-through rate and deciding television is a distraction.'
My esteemed industry colleagues @Kevin_Indig, @Marie_Haynes, and Ben Foster (from @seoworks) all published studies this week (and @RandFish amplified them). The four parties landed on the same conclusion: AI search doesn’t send traffic, so stop worrying about it. They’re right about the first part. I believe they’re wrong about everything that follows from it. Kevin has said on stage that AI is a visibility play and not a traffic play. Marie’s own data shows ChatGPT referrals falling while ChatGPT’s audience tripled, which has a very different explanation than the one she gave it. And Rand has a book coming out called Zero Click Marketing. Grading AI search on referral traffic is how you end up telling a CMO that the place where a billion people a week ask what to buy is a distraction. Nobody has ever attributed a billboard. The industry that spent twenty years tying every dollar to a click is now the only part of marketing that can’t recognize a brand channel when it’s staring at one. Here are my thoughts 👇🏾 ipullrank.com/ai-search-is-a…

imagine thinking your one page resume & 4 slide portfolio ate, only to find out your competitor has directed, shot & edited 4 minute cinematic resume for the same job 💀💀💀
Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer. And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety. Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight. So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖 Hiring? My DMs are open.

The absolute #1 lead gen strategy that no one wants to hear about is going to events where your clients hang out (*not* industry events), meeting people, and being genuinely valuable.. there's no need to pitch, you won't have to. Do this right and they'll beg you to take their money.
