This was not a statement in the heat of the moment. This was calculated and intentional. Especially the last 15 seconds, interview coming to an end but Lisandro Martinez wanted to make the point about the others upstairs. #mufc
Game’s gone. VAR again. Never a red card… but how #mufc haven’t scored tonight is beyond me.

Ed Sheeran addresses the controversy surrounding Macklemore’s removal from his tour and says, “What is happening in Gaza is catastrophic and unjustifiable.”
“Before I play some songs tonight, I hope it’s okay if I say a few words about this last week,” Sheeran said at the top of Saturday’s show. “I’m used to my music being criticized, and I’m always happy to take that because I’m lucky. A lot of you like my stuff, and to be honest, I’m surprised. I’m not surprised that I’ve even done it. You know, it’s normal. But this week, the criticism was about something much more important, and I’ve had to take and make difficult decisions, and I am making mistakes, and I’m so so sorry.”
Sheeran also said he was “appalled by the conflict between Israel and Palestine,” describing the suffering caused by the war as a “human tragedy,” while explaining that he has generally sought to keep his concerts focused on “unity, joy, escapism, love” rather than his own political views.

Since Ed Sheeran released his statement, in which he mentions not abandoning the “other support acts and musicians” - ALL of the remaining support acts and his touring band have since announced they’ve withdrawn from his tour…

This isn’t even the rule…?! What hope do we have when they don’t even know the rule.
#MUNMCI – 59’ VAR OVERTURN
VAR checked the referee’s call of no goal for offside – and determined that Haaland was in an onside position and recommended that the goal was awarded.
The VAR also deemed that while in an offside position, Fernandez didn’t play the ball.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Rule 2 of the offside law includes the wording "A player in an offside position ... by clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent", suggesting Enzo Fernández should have been ruled offiside.

City were the better team, but how is the goal not offside? Even more baffling that it was OVERTURNED by VAR, so they actually changed the correct original decision. An apology by the referee’s org won’t do anything for the points. Shambolic.
@British_Airways Hi, we were due to be flying from Malta to London Gatwick (BA2617) - but the flight has been cancelled due to the air traffic issues in the UK. When will we be informed about our accommodation and next flight?
Follow up @British_Airways - received an email saying we have been rebooked on to the next flight, but the details do not appear online or the app. Should I book independently? Or have I actually been rebooked??
Also @British_Airways - I’ve been sent an email by [email protected] - claiming to be from BA. It looks like a fake/scam. Assuming this is not an official BA email account…?

Dreadful half of football. Midfield looks off it physically, and Dorgu & Cunha both in weird positions and lacking quality. Same old story… #mufc
I love Kohli but this is such nonsense by AB 🤣 Tendulkar is streets ahead of Kohli in test match cricket

Pretty disgusting service by @TfL on the Westbound Elizabeth Line. Totally understand we get Points failures and Signal issues - but to make people hop on and off on the same train and platform at Paddington, with no clarity on if it’s cancelled or running - is a joke.
💯
Lionel Messi in tears is such a sad sight. Contemplating the defeat? Contemplating the end of his international career? He's brought such joy to the world of football. Too many of his team-mates were poor, too set on spoiling, but that cannot mask what Messi has done this World Cup. And previous tournaments. Legend.
