Sometimes we don't leave because we found someone else.
We leave because we couldn't stay anymore.
Not because our heart started beating for someone new, but because our heart got tired of being broken in the same place, by the same person, for the same reasons, over and over again.
You think I left for someone else, but the truth is, I left because of how you made me feel when I was still with you. I left because of the cold silences, the harsh words you never thought twice about, the late replies that felt like punishments, the promises you kept breaking, and the apologies that never came. I left because I felt alone even when you were right next to me.
It's not always another person that ends a love story. Sometimes it's neglect. Sometimes it's disrespect. Sometimes it's the constant feeling of not being enough, not being heard, not being valued.
I stayed. God knows I stayed. I forgave things I shouldn't have, I explained my hurt until my voice gave up, I cried for you to see me, to hear me, to choose me. But there comes a point where loving someone starts to feel like slowly losing yourself.
I didn't want someone else. I just wanted YOU to be better. I wanted you to be kinder. To care the way I cared. To try the way I tried.
So no, I didn't leave for someone else. I left for myself. I left because your behaviour left me no other choice. And I hope one day you understand - it wasn't another love that took me away from you, it was your own behaviour that pushed me away.

Remember what he did to Manchester United? 😮💨
Two goals in Como's 4-1 Champions League demolition of United.
But the bigger takeaway was his influence on the game. Paz combined individual brilliance with intelligent movement and link-up play.
That's what separates an exciting talent from a player who can genuinely shape big European nights.
My biggest talking point 👇
Is Nico Paz ready to become one of the defining young attacking midfielders in European football?
The talent is obvious. The next step is sustaining that influence against different opponents and under increasing pressure.
Como vs Lens is another opportunity for this project to make a statement.
What's your prediction? 👀
Can Como get the job done in France, and is Nico Paz destined for the very top?

Lens won't make this easy. ⚔️
Playing away in France means Como must handle the atmosphere, the intensity and the moments when Lens force them out of their comfort zone.
If Como can beat the press and find Paz between the lines, they can hurt Lens.
If they lose control in midfield, it could be a long night.
