My friend had a job interview with the NHS today. She arrived at the reception, said who she was, said who she was here to see, etc.
The receptionist picked up the phone, pressed some buttons, said "X is here for you", and asked my friend to take a seat.
30 minutes later, it transpires that the receptionist didn't actually have a number for the manager, so just faked the call. The interview was cancelled because my friend "didn't show up", and the job was awarded to someone else.

We are all saddened to hear that 'Dr Yellow", the inspection Shinkansen, will be retired by 2027. The inspection equipment is now being integrated into regular bullet trains; a special train is no longer required. If you see 'Dr Yellow', it means good luck. 🇯🇵 🚅 🟡 🍀

One of the safest cities in the world. Kids walk to school or take trains or buses starting at age six. I have lost my wallet twice in this metropolis and both times it was turned into a police station. Some amazing food 🍱 as well!🥰 #Tokyo

Our diet is as great a threat to our economy as it is to our health. Nine times as great as previously thought. Whichever government is in power in 10 years time will be crippled by this if we don’t act.

Too funny. Riding on the #shinkansen and an announcement was made that the bullet #train was one minute behind schedule. An apology was made for any inconvenience.🥰🚅🚄🚅🚄 #Japan
