One has to be amazed at how Mian Shehbaz Sharif sahib’s governance and policies have turned Pakistan into Inflationistan or Mehngaistan. Unlike in the past, everything is now more expensive in Pakistan compared to India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
We know about electricity, gas, petrol and diesel being more expensive. Now look at LPG, a fuel mostly used in rural areas and villages.
LPG cost per kg in India is Pak Rs 189 to Rs 198 per kg. In Bangladesh it is Rs 412 to Rs 464 per kg. In Sri Lanka it is Rs 290 to Rs 324 per kg. And in Pakistan it is officially notified at Rs 297 but is selling in the company stores for Rs 400per kg and in the open market for Rs 630 per kg.
