The critical gap between KYC -> KYA is the translation between a Human-Defined Goal and the Execution of the Goal. Predictably, Humans will not be happy if they ask for flight research and an Agent makes a purchase on their card without permission (cases of this are on the rise). And liability is more nuanced when an agent doesn't follow instructions. Card Infrastructure doesn't have this built-in; and every payments processor is building their own standard for permissions+disputes which will require some form of interoperability.
M2020, Recap Part 3. Red hot bank issue is Meta Muse in "Agentic Finance". Per previous tweet, consumers not only giving over their banking credentials, but also their OTP. Expect move to structured APIs, explicit consumer permissions that banks hold, data agreements between agentic platforms and banks (with rules and pricing). Most agree that KYA makes no sense. Banks don't need to know the agent, they need to know what the consumer authorized, and how the consumer was authenticated (by the agent). They also need ensure the agent operator will abide by access terms and rules (ex never asking for OTP).

Quite a few money2020 takeaways, but the most salient for me: cards may not in fact be “the obvious choice” for agentic commerce - and everyone is realizing it now. In the arms race between agents and merchants, stablecoins might end up being the winner

$205B in stablecoin volume moved onchain across Sub-Saharan Africa last year, up 52% year over year The challenge in 2026 is converting those stablecoins into local currency people can actually spend. That's the off-ramp 🧵

Buy real stocks straight from your @get_para wallet with dShares™. Para powers 15M+ wallets across hundreds of fintech and payments apps. Eligible users of any app built on Para can now turn USDC they hold into stocks like AAPL, without ever leaving the app. How it works 👇

The rights live in the dShare™, so they come with it wherever it’s offered. A fintech, a neobank, a wallet, and now any app built on @get_para. Eligible users get the same cash dividends, corporate actions, and right to redeem at NBBO, wherever they buy. dShares™ are stocks.
NEW: Any app built on Para can now offer @DinariGlobal’s dShares, tokenized stocks backed by real shares and bought with USDC. Dividends and a claim on the underlying security come built into each dShare, so only eligible users can buy them, @annabelleacta explained why on the live show last month: “When you build that much in, you kinda have to know who your users are.” xitter.cf/DinariGlobal/status/21…

So what actually happens when you add the Bluff MCP to Claude? An agentic wallet is generated through @get_para and tied to your Claude agent. Para uses MPC to split the wallet’s key material across multiple parties. The complete private key is never exposed or held in one place. When your agent needs to transact, Para coordinates the signing process using those key shares. Claude gets to interact with the wallet. Claude never gets the private key. And because the wallet is tied to the agent, Bluff can give Claude persistent onchain capabilities instead of treating every transaction like a new wallet session. That’s the infrastructure underneath agentic finance.

1/ Your users can now buy tokenized stocks and treasuries without leaving your app. Passage by @CoinList brings @Ondo and @SuperStateInc assets to Para embedded wallets through one small adapter Passage handles the compliance and settlement work, and assets land in the user's own wallet

Making money transfers feel effortless takes a lot of work behind the scenes, and our partners carry a big part of it. Thank you @get_para for helping us build a wallet our users never have to think about.
1/ @rampa_cash gives families sending euros to Latin America a place to keep and grow their money between transfers Transfers settle in ~30s on @solana, recipients cash out through local rails like @koywe_latam in seconds, and nearly 1 in 3 active families use their Earn product

Transaction Permissions is now GA! So much went into every detail of how this works across both the developer and end user experience. Permissions give us a mechanism for building the rules of money movement into the transaction layer directly. Agentic commerce is here 🎯
1/ A prompt can tell an agent what to research. What sets its budget? Para Transaction Permissions, now generally available ✴️ Define where an agent's wallet can send funds and how much it can spend. Para checks each transaction against those rules before signing, regardless of how the agent reasons

AiFi is rewriting the revenue model for artists; and royalty settlement is where it starts. "Streaming revenue as an artist is very low. Royalties don't come to you in months or sometimes even years because you have to reach a threshold in order to actually receive them." @djlittyritty on how x402 will help artists in a way streaming never could by enabling agents to settle payments instantly. Unfortunately my gut reaction to this infographic was "have MSJ Numbers fallen since my time"
Bay area schools with the most National Merit Semifinalists & the share of senior class that qualified. South Bay is absolutely dominant, there are many schools where >10% of the class qualified
