Time to do the cliche thing, with a sprinkle of bragging as a double first class lawyer 😄
You'all

Back in secondary school I had the impression that the university was a dangerous place. I resumed in OAU and was surprised to see how calm everywhere was. No disturbance, just learning and culture.
Africa's most beautiful campus for a reason🔥
You can hate the school but you can never deny the fact that the environment is very sane, safe and serene..
OAU campus is one of the sanest environments in Nigeria. At least during my time there (2001-2006).
The only exception is when students are triggered and they are fighting injustice. That’s when they sometimes break laws.
My first five days on OAU campus, electricity did not blink for a second. That was the first time I experienced that in my adult life.
Also the only place I felt comfortable to walk 5 kilometers at 2am, even in lonely places.
Zebra crossing is also largely adhered to.
I don't do this here very often but I love my church @cci_yaba and @cci__global. Today's sermon was so timely and very instructive. It also did evoke some thoughts on purposeful living.
I will live up to the CCI Promise, so help me God.
Great people dey this world mehnnnn...
Today, I write with a heart widened by wonder and stilled by gratitude.
To be named the 2025 Prize for Laureate @NGRLitPrize is an honour that reaches beyond me, one that belongs to every dreamer who still believes stories can move the world.
To think myself and a colleague at work was discussing, and he had alluded to the poem about 2 weeks ago, and that was why I went back to search for the poem.
The title is actually “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost, not “The Road Less Traveled.” This poem brought back a gush of memories. I knew every single poem in our WASSCE Literature textbook by heart including this one. I could recite them all without missing a line. I had AI in Literature in English back then. I have always loved literature.
Love the creativity. 😊

The major problem OAU has is strike.
But you see the student community? Top-tier. ✨ Top-tier.
Be active in it in a strategic way and you'll thank yourself for it.
PS: Introverts can leverage student communities too. I'm an introvert.

We travelled from Ife to Ibadan for the service of songs & we still couldn't get to speak with him that night. We didn't stop there. With no change of clothes, we joined the free buses going to Ijebu to attend the main event the next day. We finally got his attention at

Interesting days are here! NDPC is evoking its power to go after companies defaulting in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
More than 500 companies have been highlighted for defaulting. These companies cut across finance, gaming, and insurance industries.
