Losing my mind right now
On the now relatively rare occasion I decide to log on here, it’s just so clear the party has moved on.
A couple years ago the succession finale woulda been 4x bigger on here than it was last weekend. Feels like basketball is keeping it on life support and that’s almost over.
I generally refrain from doing AI takes bc absolutely no one needs to hear another one…
But I would like to say:
- too much worry (or excitement) about how good AI will get
- not enough consideration for how willing most people are to settle for mediocrity (in all things)
only a few people will know what I mean but Donte DiVincenzo moves and plays exactly like the quiet guy who shows up alone for a pickup game at the Y and just destroys everyone there
I genuinely have no concept of what passes for counterculture anymore. is there a counterculture in 2023? the internet makes it hard for me to tell
