Lula packed Brazilâs Supreme Court with his own lawyer and justice minister and had them lock his rival up for 27 years.
Back in 2023, after taking power, he named Cristiano Zanin and FlĂĄvio Dino to the court. In 2025 both voted to convict Jair Bolsonaro of a coup plot and hand him the sentence.
That court had previously wiped Lulaâs own corruption convictions in 2021 so he could run again.
On election day, Zanin ordered the polls kept open another 2 hours, 3 minutes before they were supposed to close. Both sides had asked, but the call came from Lulaâs former defense lawyer.
Even after Bolsonaro was barred and jailed, Lula still trailed FlĂĄvio 45â47 in the first round and only scraped past him by under 4 points in the runoff.
FlĂĄvio still refuses to concede. Lula called the win a defeat for denialism and lies.
Two of the judges who put his rival away were the men he put on the court. Voters barely picked him. The court cleared the path.
Who do you honestly think will win Nigeria đłđŹ 's upcoming election?
A. Peter Obi
B. Tinubu
C. Atiku

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrovđ·đș:
âOver the past 500 years, all tragedies in the world originated in Europe or occurred owing to European policies: colonisation, the Crusades, the Crimean War, Napoleon, WW1, HitlerâŠâ
After 300 years of slaughtering the peoples of the world and plundering the wealth of the global south to build the cities of EuropeâŠ
Their empires crumbled in 1945. Since then, all they have had to offer the world is neocolonialism, uncritical vassalage to the United States, and now face being an afterthought and an irrelevance.
Instead of recognising a new world exists where neocolonialism will not be tolerated, and prioritising economic rejuvenation via engagement with the rising powers of the 21st CenturyâŠ
Europe instead decides to invest its remaining and dwindling fortunes into the military-industrial complex to fight a war against Russia which none of their populations are remotely interested inâŠwhile the rest of the civilised world invests in trade and development.
Europe had a last chance to look to the future, and instead violently jerked their heads 180 degrees back to the past.
Prof. Richard Wolff: âThe only solution for Europeâs decline to re-orient themselves to the rest of the world. The only European country to have done that is RUSSIAđ·đș.â
âWorld Wars One and Two were the culmination of European colonialism, in which the leading colonial powers slaughtered each other on a spectacular level that the world had never seen before or since, luckily speaking. But that was the end of all of those empires.
Only one survived: the United States, protected by the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and by the limits of air power at that time, they came through. You know, Russia lost 27 million people in World War II. The United States death count: 400,000. No comparison between these two.
The last 70 years have been the uni-empire. The United States inherited, benefited from, and consolidated, and became the global empire. With all the wealth that had been siphoned out of the so-called Global South to Europe, now going instead, here to the United States.
The United States gave a portion of that back to Europe, a kind of debt, if you like, of having inherited all that empire, all that wealth, but they never gave the empire back to the Europeans, so they lost it, and now theyâre losing what little bit they held on to, and itâs over.
And the question is, can military Keynesianism replace the fantastic transfer of wealth in the 17th, 18th, and 19th century into the 20th? And my answer is no. There is no way that that domestic program can do for England or for Europe, all the colonial powers, what they lost.
The only way to do that, ironically, would be for European countries to understand the need to reorient themselves to the rest of the world, and thereâs only one country in Europe that has done that, and thatâs Russia.â

FIRST OF ALL, IT IS ILLEGAL TO BURY SOMEONE IN A HOUSE. KNOW YOUR COUNTRYâS LAW! NIGERIAN CCA 246!
It seems like the only reason his family and online supporters want him buried in his house is to torment his widow and children, because they knew she would say no, and for some manufactured reasons in their head, they find her decision suspicious.
Thatâs just another trick of trapping his property from her and her children because they know she wonât stay there, or might want to sell it.
After mourning your loved one, you are encouraged to heal, accept, and move on. Not stare at their grave every minute of the day.
Why canât the father bury his son in his own compound?
I personally wonât visit anybody who turned their house into a mausoleum, even if itâs a culture. That shit is creepy as hell.
Let me add this to my will. On no condition should I be buried in a house.
A painful family disagreement has reportedly erupted between late gospel singer Toluwanisings' father and his wife over where he should be buried.
While his father wants him laid to rest at his house or taken to Ikirun, where his late mother was buried, his wife reportedly prefers a cemetery in Ibadan.
Speaking with deep emotion, his father explained that he lives in a rented single room in Ikirun but insists that if his son cannot be buried at his home, he should be brought to Ikirun and laid to rest in his own father's house, just like his mother.
Unless sheâs the one who built the house, this makes no sense. Itâs not easy for her to see her late husbandâs grave but sheâll be seeing his cars every day right???

After the departure of the index ebola patient in Nigeria.
Nigeria has been declared Ebola free for now.
Earlier this morning, the Ebola patient in Nigeria and her contact, who is also her husband, were medically evacuated to Switzerland.
The reasons for the evacuation are:
â
Both the patient and her husband are Swiss citizens.
â
The patient is clinically stable. The Nigerian medical team successfully managed her through the acute phase of the illness and stabilized her condition.
On behalf of WHO and all partners, I warmly congratulate the Government of Nigeria, health workers, clinicians, emergency responders and all those involved in the response. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to what Africa can accomplish when we work together.
With the evacuation of the patient and her husband, Nigeria currently has no Ebola cases.
However, vigilance remains critical. Nigeria will continue the close follow-up of 52 contacts, while Switzerland will assume responsibility for the continued management of the patient and the follow-up of contact number 53, her husband.
Congratulations once again to everyone involved. This is a proud moment demonstrating African expertise, resilience, and leadership in public health.

đ§đ· Brazilâs election ended with Lula winning by 4.4 million votes... and half the country asking HOW?!?!
Going into yesterday, FlĂĄvio Bolsonaro was the CLEAR betting favorite at around 80% on Polymarket.
Then, minutes after polls were supposed to close, a Supreme Court justice stepped in and extended voting nationwide by 2 hours, without waiting for the electoral court to rule.
That justice, Cristiano Zanin, used to be Lulaâs PERSONAL DEFENSE LAWYER in the Car Wash corruption case, and Lula appointed him to the court. (Which might explain that look of pure devotion in the photo.)
Both campaigns had asked for more time, but the order caused chaos.
Stations that had already closed had to stay shut, machines in parts of Rio couldnât be restarted, and the vote count was frozen.
When counting resumed, FlĂĄvio briefly LED. But the betting markets flipped to Lula about an hour before the official count did.
Bolsonaro is refusing to concede and wants the entire runoff annulled, calling the extension an illegal rule change by a judge tied to his opponent.
When Lulaâs former lawyer rewrites the rules mid-vote, the least Brazil deserves is a full investigation.
If itâs all clean, whatâs there to fear?

Since I was born, this is the first time I'm seeing a minister interpreting this scripture rightly. The rest have monetize the gospel according to their own desires. Even non-ministers monetize this verse according to how their pastors teach it.
This is the gospel.
