The older you get, the more you realize that access to you should be earned, not inherited, demanded, or assumed.
The first 2 spots of Xplora500 officially claimed!
Huge thank you to the early believers.
Miguel O. and Mikhail T.
Early supporter unlocks;
* Lifetime access to Xplora3D
* custom certificate
* wallpapers
* 3D model of their IC.

Almost ready for 30 days #BuildWithXplora3D
Xplora3D component build: The MPU6050
The challenge; How to pitch and roll the module on the breadboard while the jumpers stay attached and follow its header pins.
The sim engine now covers 70 components. Time to build the tool less and use it more.
Next: 30 days of #BuildWithXplora3D, a new circuit/project every day + on the real kit too if parts are available.
Follow along and build with me.

We built a cool virtual 3D IC tape-out for our Xplora3D supporters!
Get your custom chip rendered with
* Your name on the IC package
* A QR code of your public URL on the die
* Custom mobile & 2K desktop wallpapers
Choose your package:
* 16-pin DIP - Classic 74HC595 Shift register, or
* 48QFN - STM32F411 that powers Xplora.
Support goes directly into making Xplora3D better for students, makers and educators. Making learning hardware+electronics easier and accessible.

Argon is the first model I have seen that on it's own choosing thought it should do a structural simulation of the parts it made without being told to do so.
Bravo @GoogleDeepMind and the entire team. Argon extremely well calibrated.
Xplora3D wiring update: reworked the logic for pre-cut jumper wires. Easier to wire dense circuits.
Before: wires snapped to holes and bled into each other.
Now: hold Ctrl while wiring to add bends, then drag any point on the wire to reshape it. No more overlapping wires.
Xplora beta is over!
Past one month: 954 signups, 20 new parts, 21 interactive lessons, sim engine improved and docs complete. Thank you all 🙏
Launch:
Xplora3D: $4.99 + Virtual IC (for the founding 500)
Xplora kit: first batch of 50 at $52.99.
More:

PCB: 135 parts, 514 pads, 4 layers.
An AI harness in VS Code did it all — calculated every part, read every datasheet, drew the schematic.
AI is lowering the barrier to building hardware.
What would you build?

Worked on 2 LED simulation fixes for Xplora3D based on feedback here which are mportant for learning.
* body/dome can be set to colored or clear.
* exceeding current limits charrs the die, melts the wire bondwire + "magic" smoke for visuals.

Done refining/updating transistors and single color LED models for Xplora3D.
Also added support for rectangular shaped LEDs.
Demo: Driving an LED using an NPN transistor.
FPGA for All — CERN Releases “colibri” VHDL Library ift.tt/FI4HYER
New Xplora3D project: Built a siren circuit demo with an RGB LED, a buzzer and push button to turn the siren on/off.
Building the hardware kit version next!
Refining RGD LED model for Xplora3D. The old one was too basic.
The goal is to match real world hardware in visuals and behavior for a better learning experience.
Project demo next.
A break from circuits and code. 3D printing a part we need for our lab stuff with @NivahK97539
Makes it easier to lift cabinets/desks on one end.
