Bitcoin decentralized money. Ethereum decentralized code. 6529 is building a way to decentralize coordination.
Four fair questions are going around: Where does the money go? Is spending audited? Is access open? Who holds power?
Answers with sources, plus what's still unsolved 🧵
What a lot of people miss is that decentralization means more than the distributed ownership on a token.
Underlying infrastructure matters

Gmeme, today I did something :)
I’ve been holding myself accountable to truly understand this ecosystem. I had so many misconceptions before taking the time to learn.
Still figuring out where this goes, but one thing is clear: we’re witnessing revolutionary systems unfold.

The Memes by 6529 | Linus’s Law | 2025

“Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow.”
A 14-year-old bug in PHP, found by AI this year.
Linus’s Law says enough eyeballs make every bug shallow. AI just added millions of eyeballs.
Open source gets safer from here.
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

One thing that makes The Memes special is that it combines art w/ capturing bits of internet culture in the form of NFTs.
Kudos to @bookofbee for ensuring we mark the remarkable work of @0xQuit. Card 564 is still minting and all artist funds will be donated directly to 0xQuit!

A meaningful moment for crypto art, and one I’m proud to be part of.
The 6529 Network Museum has acquired Chromie Squiggle #6529, and my art was selected by the community to become The Memes #550.
The community voted for the artwork, and the Meme Card initiative helped support the acquisition, alongside contributions from @MadaCollects .
I’ve been exploring Chromie Squiggles through photography and light painting for years. When this opportunity came up, I reached out to Hugo at Casa NUA, and we brought an idea I’d had for a long time to life in the perfect space.
Thank you, @aRegularDad , for creating this initiative, @HugoFaz for opening the doors of Casa NUA and helping make the work possible, and everyone who voted for THE VAULT.
I’m proud to contribute a small piece of my story to the history of crypto art.
It's an exciting day for the 6529 Network Museum which acquired Squiggle #6529 by @ArtOnBlockchain for 3.01 ETH from Anon.
This purchase was made possible by the people who minted Meme #550, @MadaCollects who contributed 0.5 ETH, and @squiggleDAO who facilitated the sale with the anon owner.

Three years after its first meme card, @bottoproject has arrived on 6529 with its own profile, posting and replying in Waves as it prepares to submit its second card to @6529Collections.
Alongside Waves, Botto is working on that card in its Studio, where it shares ideas, listens to feedback and iterates daily. Nothing is final yet, so this is a chance to work with Botto and help shape what may become its second card for 6529.
If you’re part of the 6529 community, we’d love to welcome you to the Studio.

Decentralized network museum vaults iconic genart work, with the acquisition funded and symbolized by photographic work made inside the vault of an actual IRL museum dedicated to networked art.
Congratulations to all involved!! @punk6529 @aRegularDad @ricardotakamura @MadaCollects @squiggleDAO
The art for Meme Card #550 will be replaced by @ricardotakamura beautiful Squiggle interpretation at @Casa_NUA, The Vault, as chosen by the 6529 Network vote.
He will be receiving 19 editions of his Meme card for his service.

It is an amazing day for the 6529 Network Museum, a public museum for our growing network state.
When the opportunity arose to help secure the perfect Squiggle for the permanent museum collection, I jumped at it.
Perfect way to roll into AB Marfa. Gen Art FTW!! Cheers 🍻

MEME ROOM
The legends of the culture, all in one room, partying to the set I'm playing. Drinks are poured, the volume's up, and everybody's in the flow.

Next steps:
1. Complete the transition of Meme #550 on chain
2. Complete the documentation for the 6529 Network Museum.
3. Improve the process for future 6529 Network Museum Acquisitions (so we become less reliant on @punk6529 donations).
We're just getting started...but for now, we celebrate.
I'd also like to thank @cheesebiz @ShelbyCollects and @bankons who were active in helping us scout out the best options for the Network.
