Today in Zaporizhzhia, fourteen people were injured following a Russian strike. The rubble clearing continued throughout the day, and two people were rescued. Aerial bombs were dropped on ordinary residential buildings and city infrastructure. Additionally, Russian forces carried out strikes with guided bombs in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Sumy regions. In Hlukhiv, several residential buildings were damaged. In the Kharkiv region, apartment buildings, energy infrastructure, and medical facilities were hit. This is the daily terror Ukraine faces. Russia is using around a hundred guided bombs each day against Ukraine. This is a constant reminder to all our partners who can help—that Ukraine needs more long-range capabilities, more air defense systems, and stronger sanctions against Russia. During this past week, in various discussions in the U.S., our position and arguments were heard in full detail. So that any further questions are unnecessary. Now, both our teams and our partners’ teams are preparing for the next "Ramstein" meeting, where we, along with other leaders, will have to determine the next steps and our shared vision for increasing pressure on Russia for this war and achieve a just peace.

Sumy. Russia hit one of the city's hospitals with “Shahed” drones. As of now, we know that 8 people have been killed. My condolences to their families and friends. Eleven others have been wounded, and 113 patients have been evacuated from the hospital. The rescue operation is ongoing as we continue to address the aftermath and save lives. We are doing everything possible to provide our people with the help they need. Everyone in the world who speaks about this war must pay attention to what Russia is targeting. They are waging war on hospitals, civilian objects, and people’s lives. Only strength can force Russia into peace. Peace through strength is the only right way. I thank everyone who supports us on this path.

It is entirely justified for Ukrainians to respond to Russian terror by any means necessary to stop it. Every day and night, our cities and villages endure enemy attacks. Just in the past week, Russia has launched over 160 missiles of various types, 780 guided aerial bombs, and 400 strike UAVs of different kinds against our people. To fully protect and safeguard our cities from this aggression, we need greater support for Ukraine’s rightful response. This includes decisions to carry out long-range strikes on Russia’s missile launch sites, destroy Russian military logistics, and conduct joint efforts to shoot down missiles and drones – everything that will help us resist Russian evil.
