Lack of urgency from Bomel, not the players, screw Hill and screw saving Hader for the next day, there is no next day! That day is now! Way too conservative, traditional and by the book managing.

With his HR in the 1st inning against the Guardians tonight, the Padres' Fernando Tatís Jr. now has 14 HR this season. Since he made his season debut on April 20, only only Shohei Ohtani (16) & Mookie Betts (15) have hit more HR than Tatís.

Padres Win graphic with today's date, June 14th. There's a photo of Nelson Cruz, Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado and Rougned Odor posing for a polaroid in the dugout. Rougned is smiling and holding up his hands to signal rock on, Nelson and Manny are smiling, Fernando is making a face like "can you believe this?!". On the bottom edge of the graphic, there is white and brown striping with gold edges and leaves from Palm trees coming out of the sides. Final score: Padres 5, Guardians 0

Organizers in Burkina Faso are working to plan one of the biggest African Liberation Day commemorations the continent of Africa has seen. This year’s ALD is incredibly important for them on the heels of the revolutionary momentum that recently ousted the French military
