Hi!
I'm currently looking for a frontend or junior developer position. I am open for on-site or remote. I am self-taught for the most part and only have experience building my own personal projects.
DMs are open.

Starting the week off listening to one of my favorite podcast.

From my experience participating in the Dallas Software Engineer Cohort a lot of what I learned has stuck with me. So based on what I learned I made a notion template that allows me to quickly get a project going while managing the task in a Kanban format.
One thing I did change is my team and I used google docs to break down our MVP, and figma for creating the user flow but it was a little scattered, so I made sure on the first tab on this template you can add resources and even break down a description for the project.

I wish we treated more things with reverence and respect like this. Well done, faithful machine!

Super excited for this course!
📣 My next course, Introduction to Postgres, is going to be 100% free!
The kind folks at @supabase are sponsoring it so that everyone can learn how to use Postgres confidently.
But that's not all... I'm changing things up a bit. I'm making a bet.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s best career advice:
“Passion isn’t enough, you’ve got to endure.”

if you’re in software; pivot to hardware.
you’ve built apps, scaled servers, debugged logic. good.
now build something that moves. that has inertia. heat. noise. failure in 3D.
software is simulation. hardware is consequence.
in software, you can ship a patch.
in hardware, you learn to get it right the first time.
hardware will teach you humility, precision, and patience.
it will remind you that the real world doesn’t have undo.
and if you can bridge both worlds, bits and atoms; you become unstoppable.
software eats the world.
but hardware is the world.
I love using Codecademy, YouTube, Documentation and Books to learn to code.
What platforms do y’all use to learn to code?

As you know with @CommitYourCode I like to be 100% transparent with EVERYTHING.
For #CYC25, A full financial post-mortem is coming soon, but we are supporting three charities this year instead of 2!
St. Jude Children's Hospital
Operation Kindness
and @freeCodeCamp
Total ticket sales, tshirts and 100% of all the book sales at CYC AFTER sales tax is $27,588.64.
Stripe processing fees were $4,486.90.
This left us with a grand total of $23,101.74.
Split three ways, this equaled $7,700.58 each!
This represents a SIGNIFICANT increase from last year's donations of $5,098.85, which were distributed to only two charities instead of three.
Waiting on one final confirmation from FCC so I can send the last of the funds to them for the donation that will go to them.
If you went to CYC in person or even hung out virtually, YOU truly helped make this happen.
To all of the speakers, YOU made this happen. Thank you. Thank you. THAAAANK YOU.
This very moment, knowing how tech and education could make such an impact, THIS is why I wanted to do this conference. This right here has made all the stress and sleepless nights 1000% worth it.
Thank you.🙏❤️
Starting the week with intention, gratitude and focus. After @CommitYourCode I feel fired up and ready to keep working on making my dreams a reality!
Let’s get it! 🔥
