Abiel Ortega | Software Engineer

From my experience participating in the Dallas Software Engineer Cohort a lot of what I learned has stuck with me. So based on what I learned I made a notion template that allows me to quickly get a project going while managing the task in a Kanban format.

Ending the week working on my current project!

I love using Codecademy, YouTube, Documentation and Books to learn to code. What platforms do y’all use to learn to code? #Coding #CodingJourney #SelfTaughtDev ⁦@Codecademy⁩

This is the closest I’ll be getting today to having a beach view.

Sitting down and about to lock in for a few hours. Making my dream of Engineering a Better Tomorrow a reality. #DreamBig #SoftwareEngineering #Coding #TechJourney #100DaysOfCode

Got the chance to continue reading The Develops Guide to AI. Haven’t made massive progress but so far enjoying the topics. #CodingJourney

Not the best planner even though I’ve been planning and journaling for a while. I still think I have a lot of room to grow. Anyone else enjoy using analog systems to plan? My current system uses @ugmonk analog system, @NotionHQ and a journal.

Finally got to meet my 2025 Summer DSD Cohort team at the #CYC25 conference! Didn’t get to stay all day unfortunately but I’m super happy I got to meet these amazing dudes!

Having fun at @CommitYourCode I got the book #CYC25
