I want to share a little story about @KenPaxtonTX that nobody else knows.
Back in 2014, our daughter Kaitlyn was a freshman at Baylor University, along with Ken’s youngest daughter, Abby.
Apparently, Kaitlyn had decided her freshman year should include a side career in rescuing stray dogs. 😂
After finding yet another dog that needed a home, she called and asked me to drive to Waco to pick it up.
I told her, “Kaitlyn, you’re going to have to find somebody else’s parent this time. I cannot keep driving to Waco collecting stray dogs!”
A little while later, she called back and said, “It’s okay, Mom. Abby’s dad will take him.”
Abby’s dad was Ken Paxton.
And sure enough, Ken drove to Waco, picked up that black Lab, took him home, and made him part of their family.
I’ve remembered that story for more than a decade because I’ve always believed the little things tell you an awful lot about someone’s character.
There were no cameras, no reporters, and no political points to be scored. Just a daughter who called her dad because a dog needed a home.
And her dad showed up.
I’ve watched Ken Paxton fight for Texas as our Attorney General, taking on powerful interests and standing firm in battles that weren’t always easy or popular. His record is unmatched by any other AG nationwide.
But long before I knew much about his political record, I got a little glimpse of the man behind the title. And sometimes, those are the stories that tell you the most about a person.
I’m exceptionally proud to support Ken Paxton, and I know he will make an outstanding Senator for Texas. Because Texas doesn’t need another politician who knows how to win an election. We need a fighter who knows how to stand his ground when it matters most.

The President of the United States is coming to West Texas!
On Tuesday, October 27, President @realDonaldTrump will be visiting the best part of Texas, my hometown, Lubbock.
I am thrilled to welcome President Trump to West Texas and show him firsthand why Lubbock remains the heart and soul of the American Dream. 🇺🇸 #OnePartyOneMission
Something deeply wrong with Talarico
James talarico headlined a Pride event alongside an 11-year-old child drag queen named "Kween Kee Kee."
One attendee posted video of the young boy doing the splits.
Another performance was by an adult man who goes by the raunchy name "Sedonya Face."
The event touted more than 30 kids in attendance. #TXsen

State Rep. @ShelleyLuther is on the campaign trail stumping for Ken Paxton and she's one of our absolute best. This is the fighter who went to jail for opening her salon against government mandates and @KenPaxtonTX had her back when it mattered most. She's bringing that same fire that made her a conservative hero. When you see Luther campaigning for Paxton, you're seeing authentic Texas conservatives. She knows who fights for Texas freedom because she's lived it.
James is clear on his convictions. Vote @KenPaxtonTX

State Representative and attorney for Ken Paxton, @realmitchlittle absolutely crushed it with one of the best speeches I've heard in a while. When a man who's both a legislator and Paxton's own attorney speaks, you listen. He brought it home today and reminded everyone why we stand with Ken Paxton.

Day one of early voting, day one of our mission. For the next 12 days, we’re traveling across Texas, putting boots on the ground and doing the work to bring every Republican House member back to Austin.
Proud to stand alongside Reps @CarlTepper, @Schoolcraft4Tx, @BrooksLandgraf, and @TerryWilsonTX as they continue fighting for Texas. A special thanks to future Congressman @SellForTexas19, Senator @electcharles, Chancellor @CreightonForTX, and @natesheetsforTX for joining us at our kickoff in Lubbock! #OnePartyOneMission

If you don't defend your seat at the table, others will take your place.

Today I turn 47. Early voting starts today too, and I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday.
I came to America from Kerala, India at 16. My family waited 14 years for a visa. We came the right way, we learned the ways of this country, and we worked. Nobody handed us anything. America gave us a chance, and that was enough.
That's the American Dream. It's not free, and it doesn't defend itself. It lasts when free people show up and vote. So here's my birthday wish. Go vote early this week. Vote the entire Republican ticket, all the way down the ballot. Then bring three neighbors with you.
Thank you for your prayers and your friendship. God bless you, and God bless Texas.
Have you voted yet? Tell me in the comments.
