Hi all and here's the slightly late monthly performance for the portfolio (spoiler - it's down). Best asset: Energy & Resources (#BERI) Worst asset: Rockwood Strategic Portfolio reduced in value by -7.16% over March and therefore is -0.38% YTD. Keeping calm and carrying on.

Lost patience with Alliance Witan #ALW so have sold and reinvested into Orbis Global Equity Fund 🤞.

I think our waitress was a vegetarian / vegan earlier today. When bringing over our roast dinner she asked, “cow?”. It took me a few seconds but then I said, “oh, yes, I ordered beef”. Factually correct, but perhaps delivered a little tersely 😬.

I am, of course, very relaxed about my decision last week to top slice the #BERI holding and reinvest into #HGT. Very happy indeed. Not regretting it. Not at all. Laughing really. Wibble.

I made a few changes to the portfolio earlier today. I halved #PCT and bought #JEGI with the proceeds. Also top-sliced #BERI as the holding had exceeded its allocation by 25% and topped up #HGT.

Morning all and a happy new year. The portfolio finished on a positive note up +20.42% for the year so well above my 8% p.a. minimum requirement. I've made changes to the portfolio so will update my pinned portfolio accordingly. I sincerely hope you all have a great 2026 🙏

Morning all and a positive week for the portfolio despite Friday’s sell-off +1.19% ⭐️assets: Global Eq Inc (#MYI and #JGGI) and Gold (#SGLN). 💩assets: Infrastructure (#INPP), UK Equity Income (#LWDB). Portfolio now up +17.94% YTD. Have great weekends 🍻.

A few actions on my portfolio: Reduced holding in Gold (still hold a proportion, but not as high). Opened a position in Rockwood Strategic IT #RKW to increase UK small cap exposure. Also hold #JUGI in this asset class.

Guilty pleasure is #MAFSUK - it’s weirdly addictive. It would be great if John walked into the apartment saying that he’s written a poem about their day of bliss and Abi looked into the camera with exhausted eyes while whispering, ‘FFS’.

Thinking of ditching the JP Morgan UK Smaller Companies #JUGI investment trust as I might as well just hold a tracker and get better performance. Also considering investing half of the proceeds into Rockwood Strategic and half in a tracker as they seem to be doing great.
