Left-NIMBYISM is much funnier. Yeah, i'm a socialist, except in the case of housing, where I believe in zealously protecting the rights of property owners to form a cartel at the expense of the poor. Let's build some parking lots in city centers for suburbanites to park in!
“Left-YIMBYism” is one of the funniest things I’ve seen people talk themselves into. Like yeah, I’m a socialist except in the case of housing where I believe in supply-side economics and deregulation. Let’s bulldoze some section 8 housing and sell it to developers

Take it from Councilwoman Imelda Padilla, Los Angeles needs a mayor who is willing to work with every City Councilmember to deliver lasting results for Angelenos. I’m committed to working together with our city leaders and constituents to keep moving Los Angeles forward and ensure our city is ready for the 2028 Olympics! Make your plan to vote now and get your ballot in on or before Election Day on November 3rd!

for blue states and cities to become affordable, functional, and politically and culturally dominant again, NIMBYs need to be steamrolled. no more pretending their obstruction deserves equal consideration. the future depends on it.
Blue states like Illinois California and New York are handing congress to the south because we refuse to build more housing

If you’re in LA, you can go check out my son’s mural right off of Crenshaw and Vernon, it’s pretty big you can’t miss it.

Reading the history of Bell, Commerce, and City of Industry is wild. There's no reason for so many cities in this county except for grift and tailored tax laws.

I’m always saying this
Ideally, LA should consolidate a lot of these cities to mitigate tax base fragmentation ala NYC. The only reason a lot of these cities exist is just less oversight for corporations, like the oil drilling in Signal Hill or Vernon being filled with data centers and no voting base
