Woody Johnson sucks but his role as an active antagonist in preventing the Jets from winning is greatly exaggerated. Adam Gase hire aside the Jets have been able to get highly regarded candidates pretty consistently

jets have had the ball inside their opponent’s 40 yard line 13 times the last 2 weeks:
4 TDs, 5 FGs, 1 missed FG, 1 interception and 2 turnover on downs.
meanwhile, opponents have done it 10 times:
7 TDs, 2 FGs and 1 fumble.
Connor, is there going to be any follow up on this? Hinting at some kind of situation between the team’s Qb and WR1 seems like the kind of story that warrants specifics.
I get protecting sources, but you’ve basically just come out and said it now. So if it’s real, what is it?
Idk about you guys but this really put a lot of my concerns to rest
Aaron Glenn says he understands the fans’ frustration, but he insists the team is headed in the right direction. #Jets
I didn’t write this don’t look at me
Locker room scene: Geno Smith and Garrett Wilson, among the last players around, emerge from the shower at the same time, talking to each other as they head to their lockers. #Jets
Like Glenn being a “defensive mind” is not the reason he sucks I promise

There will be people who will rage against hiring a professional head football coach with a .662 winning percentage

This is the worst loss since Adam Gase skipping Thanksgiving dinner to gameplan for the 0-11 Bengals and getting belt
I hate to even say this but Gase had a much worse roster and still managed to win seven games his first year lmao (they were fake wins but still…0-8 in the division!$

Has to be given that the Gase teams were always dogshit and there’s actual talent on this roster

It all adds up.
Didn’t use a TO at the end of the 1st half so they forfeited a scoring opportunity.
Missed a FG. Didn’t score a TD from 1st and goal at the 1.
Football games are won in the margins and the Jets consistently lose there. Every week. Without fail.
The Jets are at a schematic disadvantage and a coaching/game management disadvantage every week.
Hard to win consistently in the NFL when that’s the case even if the roster is talented and the offense is explosive.
