Similarly, the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Osman Saleh, who took to the podium to give a press conference on the third day of the state visit, alongside Egypt's Foreign Minister, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, was asked four questions by journalists but left the podium without answering any of them. Reliable sources have informed us that the Egyptian Presidency has ordered Dr. Badr Abdelatty's office to investigate and submit an urgent report on the reason why Mr. Osman Saleh left the podium without giving any response to the questions asked.
Although both ministers were scheduled to take the podium for the press conference, Dr. Badr Abdelatty spent 29 minutes and 22 seconds before leaving, while Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh did not utter a single word. Ethiopia is adding some serious teeth to its air force! 12 Su-35s, with S-400s reportedly in the pipeline. That’s a major shift in the Horn of Africa, especially as tensions with Eritrea simmer. For context, Eritrea is believed to have just ONE operational Su-27, plus a two-seat trainer. The Super Flankers would give Addis Ababa a much stronger air-to-air and strike punch, while the S-400s could make its airspace far harder to challenge. This could change the regional military balance 👀
