Replying to @SenSchumer
@SenSchumer was just on the Last Word with @Lawrence and detailed how he recruited candidates, his strategy, and how he funded their campaigns regardless if they supported him or not.
The man had a “Generational remaking of the map” plan and executed it and had historic wins never seen before since Watergate!
He earned and deserves that job.
Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Speaker of the House Hakeem Jeffries 🇺🇸

The amount of shit people put her thru, by both conservatives & Talarico supporters was fucking disgusting.
Despite it all, she still came thru for Texas & the country overall.
Everyone who tried to crucify her is on my shitlist. Fuck each and every last one of you!
Don’t forget to thank Congresswoman @JasmineForUS for helping us flip Texas Blue!
Her focus on down ballot races helped bring out so much of that blue turnout out!

NO, Morris- YOU are the most useless voice in the Democratic Party-
You plucked a subpar candidate off an oyster farm, didn’t vet him, filled his head full of delusions, lied to the public & party, then ran cover for him while pocketing God knows how much $ off the whole deal.
Have you ever worked on a winning election? Or an election in general since you failed the nation in 2016 & couldn’t find the rust belt on a map? Truly the most useless voice in the Democratic Party who’s a shill for the donors dumb enough to pay attention to a washed up has been (if she ever even was)

Dear White progressives,
You wanna skip over the 1st black speaker in a party full of black people ??!!🙄

Pay attention to people that have never made a video or comment about Mike Johnson but has everything in the world to say about Hakeem Jeffries

That's right!!!
Damn right.
Without moderates, centrists, and independents, this would not have happened.
NYT: Moderate Democrats Increase Their Clout
For much of the midterm campaign, progressive Democratic insurgents commanded the spotlight in the fight to wrest control of Congress, defeating establishment incumbents in primaries, drawing enthusiastic crowds and promising to reorder their party’s priorities and remake American politics once they got to Washington.
But the path to Democrats’ sweeping victory this week, when they seized control of both chambers of Congress, was paved overwhelmingly by moderates who had spent months persuading voters in Republican-leaning states and competitive congressional districts that they could be trusted to govern and would deliver dissatisfied voters a practical alternative to President Trump

Even when we win big these people are annoying and antagonistic. I think what bothers me most about politics now. It will never end. People couldn’t even give 24-72 hours of celebration and joy before their next narrative. These people will never be happy or satisfied.

Oh fuck off. We just won Mississippi.
🔥 JON STEWART ON @SenSchumer: “Someone has to meet this moment… you need to do is remove that system of seniority from Democratic politics. It’s a bullshit system and it needs to go. Schumer fought tooth and nail against half of these fucking people.”

They did a lot of shit.
While folks were on here bitching about Ds “doing something” the party leaders were busy doing lots of somethings. Y’all don’t know jack shit about what Ken did to build on Jaime’s southern strategy and no idea of the thousands of hours and millions of dollars the legal part of the party spent getting ready to fight them on if they try to claim fraud.
Maybe get off the progressive forms of Fox News and actually ask Google what the Ds did to set up this moment

The almost entirely online Hakeem debate highlights the problem with leftists and the reason why they are so ineffective at doing anything. They had all year to organize and build up a challenger to Hakeem. Instead they waited until the last minute and think bot-boosted tweets and online petitions are a substitute for real work. Their brand of activism is the same way.

this is who started the petition. At no point in her video does she mention she’s getting a cut. there is a hashtag but idk it doesn’t seem like enough. Oh well, she walked away with 80k in commish and the org walked away with your info. Great work ppl.
Raising some eyebrows among Dems - a petition about demanding a non Jeffries speaker being amplified by Mark Ruffalo and some on the left …. Is being led by someone being compensated in connection with the petition

To the stupid people on our side who are already busy trying to undermine Speaker Hakeem Jeffries: shut the fuck up.

Schumer’s not supposed to be your muse. He’s supposed to count votes and block bad bills. If you’re waiting on the government to provide inspiration, that’s a you problem.

Do y'all even know what it takes to be speaker?
I'm just asking bc all I'm seeing are demands & torches.
It's cute to get on the Twitterverse & shout shit.

I'm seeing Mark Ruffalo promoting a petition to block Hakeem Jeffries from becoming the next Speaker of the House, while Hasan Piker, Mehdi Hasan, George Conway, Ron Filipkowski and others are criticizing his remarks on Morning Joe yesterday.
So I have to ask: Did they actually watch his FULL interview?
🔵 Jeffries didn't dismiss accountability. He explicitly DEMANDED it.
🔵 He clearly connected Trump's corruption to the affordability crisis.
🔵 He explained how Trump's war in Iran contributed to higher gas, diesel, fertilizer and grocery costs.
🔵 And he promised congressional oversight guided by facts, law and the Constitution.
🔵 And he made the distinction between ACCOUNTABILITY and RETRIBUTION.
That distinction matters.
Democrats didn't just win an election. They made promises to millions of Americans struggling to afford groceries, housing, healthcare and basic necessities.
Now is the time to unify and deliver, not for ignorant divisiveness that weakens our collective power.
LET'S BE CLEAR: Delivering does NOT mean giving Trump or anyone else a free pass.
Jeffries was beyond clear about the below ⤵
‣ Investigate corruption.
‣ Follow the money.
‣ Issue subpoenas.
‣ Hold wrongdoers accountable.
‣ And if the evidence supports impeachment, pursue it.
But making impeachment the opening act before the new Congress even convenes? That's not a substitute for governing.
Jeffries understands that Democrats have to do BOTH.
Criticism is healthy. Holding leadership accountable is essential. But there's a difference between demanding results and undermining a prospective Speaker before he's had the opportunity to deliver.
#AffordabilityAndAccountability pave the path to the future we're all fighting for.
Not retribution. Not political theater.
Listen to what Jeffries is actually saying before attacking him. And watch the FULL FUCKING interview ⤵ before yapping your fucking traps!
