tomorrow is monday and i genuinely want to appeal to founders and employers to please go easy on their remote team members this period.
this is a terrible time to be working remotely in nigeria, between the nonexistent electricity, the cost of fuel, terrible internet connections and the general cost of living, simply showing up to work every day can be an expensive and frustrating experience.
please be a little more understanding when things don’t go exactly as planned. a lot of your employees are dealing with challenges that have absolutely nothing to do with their willingness or ability to do their jobs.
a little empathy and flexibility can go a long way.
people make the game better.

i think one thing i’ve come to realise from building startups is that sometimes, we founders are the ones standing in the way of our own growth.
we spend so much time building, fixing things and worrying about everything that could go wrong that we forget people are already finding value in what we’ve built.
i’ve experienced this myself with @SPOILSApp , there are things i wish we’d done better before putting ourselves out there, but i’ve also realised that waiting until everything feels ready is a trap because there’s always going to be something to improve.
8k+ live projects is no small feat, you’ve already built something people trust enough to use for their businesses.
i think at some point you just have to allow the market to decide how ready your product is, rather than making that decision entirely on its behalf.
i've been battling with imposter syndrome,
and this isn't about me being scared about my ability to code or whatsoever..
but its about my startup.
so, i've been building @pxxl_space since around 2023 and we went fully live in 2025... and we've racked up over 8k+ live projects hosted on us and i mean actual companies actually use us.
but then, somehow..i've been very scared of reaching out to people about pxxl or doing marketing because i've always felt like it wasnt fully market ready, despite our good infra and all.
so far, the users on the platform have been saying good things about it, but still i've been scared.
somedays back i had a hangout with some founders here and i mentioned this, and i kind of started seeing it differently...
well, why am I making this post? genuinely i dont know..but then i need your honest opinion..
what's wrong or missing on @pxxl_space that you feel is keeping you from using it, then also has it helped you?
