I’m begging you, Democrats.
Please, please pick this fight.
A good old death tax showdown is just what the doctor ordered.
If Democrats win the Senate and the House next Tuesday, one concrete goal should be estate tax reform that:
1) lowers the exemption from $15M to (say) $5M per person, and
2) ends "step-up basis," which lets capital gains built up over a lifetime escape income tax entirely at death.
My very rough estimate is that this could raise around $100B a year more than current law (happy to be corrected if the number is off).
Die 0.2 % Wachstum die @_FriedrichMerz so feiert kommen von der Spanplattenindustrie! 😂

You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland).
You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.

The Poles are proud and courageous people. They will not submit to tyranny. The actions tonight of @donaldtusk are the unhinged actions of a tyrant who has no respect for democracy and the rule of law. I expect he will be defeated by the Polish people who will defend their freedom.

I’d like to take this moment to remind everyone that RED STATE Senator @jameslankford tried to pass an amnesty bill while the communists were intentionally filling up your country with foreigners.
🚨 DHS just confirmed 250,000 non-citizens registered to vote in only four states: California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Nevada.
Secretary Mullin: “Mind you, we have 46 other states.”
Proactive states working with the SAVE program already found another 28,000 non-citizens plus 400,000 deceased people still on the rolls. And activist judges are fighting the program that found them. 🗳️
These aren’t rumors. This is the Department of Homeland Security saying non-citizens are on voter rolls right now.
Citizens don’t have to wait for Washington.
Request the voter roll data, the citizenship verification records, and the maintenance logs in your own county. Compare them. Demand the documents. 🔍
Clean rolls start locally.
Get trained to request and review them:

Europe is about to drop a methane penalty that could pretty much kill natural gas. Watching this relentless energy suicide in Europe is painful. They are not saving the planet they are beggaring a continent.
Inspirational speeches by @SteveForbesCEO and @JTLonsdale at William F. Buckley Jr. Prize Dinner in New York. Great to see @USAmbUN and so many other freedom fighters. @NRO

Hurra!
