“A King may move a man, a father may claim a son, but remember that even when those who move you be Kings, or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus." Or that, "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.”

"THIS MAN HAS ABANDONED CORPORATE LIFE FOR THE SMOKE."
For fifty eight years, my boss in Tokyo believed that beef should be sliced as thin as paper. In Japan, we cook thin meat for four seconds in boiling broth. That is our way. Then last month, the YouTube algorithm showed Director Sato a video of a man in Texas smoking a brisket. It changed his life. On Monday morning, he called me to his desk. His eyes were bloodshot. "Have you seen this?" he whispered, turning his monitor toward me. "The American pitmaster does not sleep for sixteen hours. He sits by the fire in the dark. He guards the meat like a castle." I said, "Sir, it is just a barbecue." He slammed his hand on the desk. "This is not cooking," he said. "This is a vigil." Last Saturday was our annual company picnic by the river in Kanagawa. Normally, we grill thin meat and yakisoba for two hours and go home at 2:00 PM. I arrived at 9:30 AM to help set up. Director Sato was already there. I want to be accurate here: he had been sitting in a folding chair since 10:00 PM on Friday night. He was wearing a towel around his head and staring at a massive black barrel smoker he had imported from Oklahoma. Inside I said: THIS MAN HAS ABANDONED CORPORATE LIFE FOR THE SMOKE. When we tried to help him, he held up a pair of metal tongs and clicked them twice. "Step back," he said calmly. "The stall has begun. Nobody opens the lid." Twelve Japanese accountants stood in complete silence around a barrel for four more hours. Nobody dared to eat a single noodle until he gave the signal. At 1:45 PM, he sliced the meat. It fell apart on the cutting board. My boss looked at the pink smoke ring, nodded once, and wiped a single tear from his cheek. He has already submitted an official budget request for a trailer smoker for next fiscal year.

Gen Z is voting at half the rate because they are starting to believe that we can’t vote our way out of it. That alone should set off alarm bells in the head of every politician in the nation. Now tell me, what historically happens when you have a large group of disaffected young men who do not believe that their politicians represent them, and do not believe they have a future under the current system?
Do you understand that Gen Z is voting at half the rate they did 2 years ago by this point? Yeah, im totally sure theyre all gonna turn up on election day. LOL

Look at the contrast: Binance loses billions: - Coinbase manually blocks addresses - Tether and Circle freeze billions in 60 minutes - Ripple and World Liberty coordinate in group chats - Executives hug it out on X A normal user loses $50k to an approval scam: - "Blockchain transactions are irreversible, anon" - "Code is law" - "Have you considered reading the contract bytecode?" - Zero help from stablecoin issuers Decentralization for the peasants, emergency bailouts and centralized freezes for the tier-1 cartel. There are two crypto industries, and you’re not in the protected one.
Our team is doing everything we can to support in the current situation, including blocking sends to compromised wallets. We've also reached out to Binance to offer our help. Moments like this call for the industry to work together. Openly sharing any useful information and helping to protect customers should come first, regardless of which platform they use. If you can do anything to help, please do! Crypto has been through many tough times, and has always come out stronger on the other side. This won’t be any different.

Watch the @water
At the end of every payment is a person. A family in Brazil with a tap in their home for the first time. A mother in Peru who no longer spends hours collecting water. Together with @Water, Ripple has helped reach 1 million people with access to safe water and sanitation — using Ripple Payments, Custody and $RLUSD to move money faster and at lower cost, so more of every dollar arrives where it matters most: on.ripple.com/4iduI7i When every second counts – we make it count.
