Chris Rock says Meghan Markle marrying into the royal family and then complaining about racism is like marrying into the Budweiser family and being shocked that they drink a lot 💀
Chris says Meghan knew she was marrying into a family with a long history of racism, so he finds it ironic that she was surprised by it.
He then addresses the controversy about the royal family asking how dark her baby would be, arguing that it’s just typical in-law behaviour.
He says even Black families want to know how dark the baby will be, joking that everyone wants to know if they’re getting a Steph Curry baby or a Draymond Green baby. 😭
🤣🤣🤣 God forbid bitterness oh

Savannah James and April McDaniel open up about their deep bond and what it really takes to maintain adult friendships.
Savannah gets emotional revealing that April saw something in her that she didn't see in herself
"I think friendship takes work. And people don't talk about it... It's effort to talk, connect, learn each other, figure it out. I think people don't get to know people nowadays."
"April saw something in me that I didn't see in myself... don't make me cry on the show”
"It's hard to sit amongst somebody so big and have your own identity... I see in her what she may not see, but I also see things that I lack, that I love, that I admire."

Dwyane Wade earned $196 million in the NBA. At home, Gabrielle Union pays half the bills. And she insisted on a prenup.
It started with one sentence. Wade says they were arguing in Miami and he called it "my house that I paid for." She told him he would never say that to her again. In L.A., she paid half of the new home. "You will never say my house again."
In May 2023, Union said it on a Bloomberg podcast: "in this household, we split everything 50/50." Wade says it covers about three things, like the house. Everything else, each pays their own. They married in 2014, and in her memoir she wrote that she "got taken to the cleaners" in her first marriage.
The case for 50/50: she earns her own money, she already paid for one divorce, and nobody gets to call the home "mine."
The case against: he made $196 million, a marriage is not a business deal, and splitting bills with someone who earns more keeps the gap.
In the video below, Wade explains how 50/50 works in their house.
If your partner earns far more than you, should you still split the bills 50/50?

Christianity, as a worldview faithfully pursued and embodied, will inevitably bring you into conflict with many popular ideas.
It gives you a particular lens through which to understand how the world operates, but also calls you not to reproduce its patterns, even when doing so might benefit you.
James 2 speaks to this beautifully: when the rich and the poor come into the same fellowship, one must not be given preferential treatment over the other.
Perhaps that's part of what faith should do for our self-image: free us from the need to establish our worth through status, while reminding us not to measure the worth of others by theirs.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon reveals what his daughter wrote when he joined Trump's business council: "How could you, Dad?" 🇺🇸
Jamie Dimon: "We've never been in line with the current administration. We've always tried to help the current administration, and I'm never embarrassed about that.
My daughter, years ago when Trump became president, I went on that business council thing, and she wrote me a long letter. Beautiful, elegant, thoughtful, ending with, how could you, Dad, with the quote from Martin Luther King from the Birmingham jail.
My other two daughters and my wife said ditto. Don't come home for dinner.
I wrote back. Julia, you got everything right except for one thing. The conclusion. Martin Luther King would have gone to the White House every day to further his goals and his values.
What's the right thing to do? Then do it."

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon reveals the cost cut he ordered reversed in his first days at the bank: "That is not cost cutting." 🇺🇸
Jamie Dimon: "When I first came to J.P. Morgan, they had read the stories about me. Tough on expenses, which I am. I hate waste. But waste is not tough on expenses.
They had outsourced all the guards and janitors, and the head of the union wanted to come see me. He said, you outsourced the janitors. The same person comes back to the same job at the same pay.
The benefits package, if they have a family, cost $30,000, predominantly medical and retirement, and they cut it in half. That saved $15,000.
I went to see the person who did it, and I said, never do something like that again. That is not cost cutting. I want them back by the end of the week.
I don't want any negotiation. I don't want to talk about it. I don't care what consultants told you. I don't care what other companies do."
