We’re betting our $5.5M seed round that the next leap in AI coding won’t come from OpenAI or Anthropic. It’ll come from a new feedback loop that learns from you. Introducing Beacon: open-source, self-improving memory for coding agents. Your sessions capture how you debug and solve problems. Today, that context gets lost and you have to re-explain things every time you switch tools. Beacon continuously distills your sessions into reusable skills across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and 20+ harnesses, so your next agent can learn from the last. Beacon is free and OSS 🌟 github.com/Asymptote-Labs/ag… Why should the frontier labs be the only ones winning with your sessions? You already did the work. Now let your coding agents learn from you.

Today, our team is excited to announce @InspiredCap Fund IV, $450M in new capital to back early-stage founders. There has never been a moment in history when more is possible. It takes just one person with exceptional ambition to take on the world’s problems and change billions of lives for the better.

I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.

“Non-player characters do stuff so they can eat. Player characters eat so they can do stuff.”
If your first question is "What's the point?" then you will never understand the answer. Because this IS the point. Some engineers felt like making a car with jump jets. So they did. Non-player characters do stuff so they can eat. Player characters eat so they can do stuff.

An awesome team building an awesome product
Fragment is automating commerce. We think there are millions of businesses that haven't been invented yet. Not because folks lack imagination, but because it's too hard to build the financial systems that run them. Fragment removes that constraint. Today, people run companies. With Fragment, they'll run on their own. fragment.dev/v2

Imagine you borrowed $100k and put it in the market 30 years ago
Inflation is the silent thief. Over the last 30 years: $1 in purchasing power → $0.47 $1 invested in the S&P 500 → $9.05 AFTER inflation That gap is the power of ownership.

marco rubio realizing he has to be steve jobs
🚨 JUST IN: Sec. Marco Rubio announces Americans will be able to apply for passports ENTIRELY ONLINE instead of spending HOURS and frustration doing it in-person "No printing forms, no drug store hostage photo, no appointment, no line, no middleman...and REAL-TIME STATUS, [tracking] estimated delivery date." "By the end of 2027, our goal is for most Americans to be able to apply for a passport or passport card on America .gov." He just PERSONALLY confirmed it: America .gov will let you do the entire process online This is massively overdue! The page is Super Intelligence-powered. EVERY nation is going to copy it 🇺🇸

The constant decel messaging in Europe is insufferable as an adult, but its effect on kids is worse. As a parent, it's your obligation to counterprogram this nonsense. Show them robots, rockets, and wonders of AI. Show them cathedrals and moon landings. Instill hope in progress.

The Social Network included things that weren't true about Zuck. Should that movie have been allowed to be published? It's incredible when people who make art for a living don't understand the value of their own freedom.
“I’m not the one who’s lying and I’m not stopping them from seeing someone who is…” The Social Reckoning, a companion piece to The Social Network, is coming exclusively to theatres October 9. thesocialreckoning.movie/
