I built the thing I needed most.
I run 9 coding agents at once.
They're fast. I wasn't.
Every few minutes one of them was stuck waiting for me, and I was digging through terminals to find it.
So I made them come to me.
Orbs is live 🟣
Every Claude Code + Codex session → a small orb on the edge of your Mac.
working. done. needs you.
The one that needs you jumps to the front.
Answer it. Drop a screenshot. Allow the command.
Never open a terminal.
Every finished task plays back as a 10-second story.
No new AI bill. Your code never leaves your Mac.
50 seats. $49. Lifetime.
Then $100. Then $150. It only goes up.

I would say it is for real a moat, but positionning, cost of switching are bigger than speed
Right now most of the companies and products can build in few weeks, so without strong postionning you are ngmi
Thats the right play from someone who understands gtm
our only gtm is posting on X for boat.dev cloud VMs
we don't waste money on billboards, that's lazy tactics for companies who overprice their sandbox
we just keep on posting better, it compounds, it's asymmetric, the ROI is through the roof
distribution, execution and brand are not moats.
only switching costs, network effects, scale and data compound
using ai for everything will keep you mediocre
use your brain
Despite all the doomers on the timeline, I've never been more excited to build.
Yes, AI lowered the bar. The average developer can ship something over a weekend now.
But the fun part is how much it raised the ceiling of what's possible.
Things that used to require a team, a bunch of money, or simply weren't practical to build alone suddenly feel within reach.
What a time to be building.
