DMK had planned to target Vijay both in karur and then later in Chennai. In fact dmk goons had surrounded the karur govt hospital and the pvt hospital with the specific purpose of targeting Vijay or any tvk leader who arrived there. The next plan was to force into the house of Vijay in Chennai and attack him. The central intelligence got the whiff of it and they then increased his security.
