I subscribe to the @washingtonpost to read deep investigations from its hardworking, independent reporters.
From @myhlee who expertly covers the Koreas, to the incredible team that produced this chilling examination of the AR-15 rifle. #whyisubscribe

I subscribe to the Washington Post because at least once a week I read a story there that makes me say, "I wish I'd thought of that."
In a tumultuous time, we need more independent reporting on what's happening in the world. The Post is an essential source of that kind of journalism.

This month, the first monopoly case in 25 years, US v. Google, concluded.
I was in court as Google with the tacit help of an obsequious judge tried to privatize our public court system. Here’s how “the trial of the century” turned into “the secret trial” prospect.org/justice/2023-11…

Mohammed Abu Hatab is the latest journalist to have been killed in Gaza, along with 11 family members reportedly by an airstrike on their home. @pressfreedom counts 36 journalists and media workers killed so far - 31 Palestinian, 4 Israeli and 1 Lebanese cpj.org/2023/11/journalist-c…

Very unusual for the ICRC to issue such a pointed statement against one side in a conflict.
#Gaza The human suffering is shocking. Thousands killed. People have limited access to food & water.
Hospitals are near collapse. Hospital corridors are full of wounded & displaced.
Destroyed infrastructure & homes will take years to rebuild.
❌ Even wars have limits.

Very glad to see this. I want to echo the thanks to @nytimes senior counsel @alamynsumar, who has argued tirelessly for press access to this trial.

So honored to see the Civilian Casualty Files awarded the @PulitzerPrizes in International reporting.
This project was born out of the belief that every American deserves to be informed about the wars waged in their names…
