Imagine the entire population of London wiped out. 59 years since the Abortion Act, and more than 11 million unborn lives lost since. We were pleased to stand outside Parliament today alongside March for Life, CBR UK, the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, and other pro-lifers, to remember all the lives lost to abortion in this nation. Christian Concern seeks to speak up for the worth and dignity of every human being, while exposing the true nature of medical procedures that devalue a person’s right to life. We seek to protect vulnerable women and families, showing how Christianity alone provides the basis to care even for those that society deems ‘unwanted’. We pray that our nation will cherish, protect, and uphold each and every innocent life. And until that day comes, we will continue to use the voice that God has given us to speak life, for the sake of our children.

He wasn't a Christian and had little sympathy for the movement. Yet his writings show that Christ's followers were already causing impact to attract the attention of Roman authorities in the 1st century. That's not proof by itself, but it's one more piece of the historical puzzle

Suetonius records: • Jews expelled from Rome under Claudius because of disturbances connected to "Chrestus". • Christians punished by Nero after the Great Fire of Rome.

"Jesus never existed." If that were true, why do pagan Roman historians mention Christians so early?

59 years ago today the Abortion Act was passed in the UK. Over 11 million children have been killed in this state sanctioned execution. We will be judged on how we treat our most vulnerable. We can't legislate our way out of a spiritual crisis. The only solution lies in God.

The life and death of James, son of Alphaeus, remind us of the quiet yet profound impact that faith and dedication can have. Though not one of the more prominent apostles, James' unwavering commitment to his mission exemplifies the true spirit of discipleship.

Some toil for decades in remote regions of the world with little to show for it. Others serve quietly in their homes or neighbourhoods and then die unnoticed. But God notices. James the son of Alphaeus reminds us that God uses a different set of standards to choose His heroes

Mary Magdalene's most significant biblical appearances include her presence at Jesus' crucifixion, burial, and as the first witness to his resurrection. In the Gospels, she is portrayed as a devoted follower who supported Jesus' ministry. Notably, in the Gospel of John. (1/2)

(2) Mary Magdalene is the first to encounter the risen Christ, making her the "apostle to the apostles."

Also known as Mary of Magdala, she is mentioned multiple times in the NT Her name suggests that she hailed from Magdala, a town on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. In a time when women's roles were often marginalized Mary stands out as a prominent disciple of Jesus Christ

Mary Magdalene is one of the most enigmatic and fascinating figures in Christian history. Often misunderstood and misrepresented, her true significance offers profound insights into the early Christian movement and the transformative power of faith.

The fragments attributed to Papias preserve more than traditions about Gospel origins. They include reports concerning Judas, remarkable deliverances, the daughters of Philip, and a narrative resembling the story of a woman accused before Jesus.
15
Papias’s preface mentions John twice: first among named disciples whose past words were sought, and later as “the presbyter John,” alongside Aristion, whose testimony is expressed in the present tense.
13
Papias also reported that Matthew arranged the logia (divinely inspired Scripture) in a Hebrew dialect and that each person interpreted them as able. The statement may refer to sayings, a Gospel-like composition, or an earlier source, and “Hebrew” may indicate Hebrew or Aramaic.
12
According to the report preserved by Eusebius, Papias said that Mark served as Peter’s interpreter and accurately wrote down what he remembered, though not in an ordered account of the Lord’s sayings and deeds. The statement defends Mark’s accuracy.

Papias of Hierapolis occupies a pivotal but elusive place in the history of early Christianity. His five-volume work survives only through quotations and summaries by later authors, chiefly Irenaeus and Eusebius. (1/2)

These fragments nevertheless illuminate the circulation of traditions about Jesus, the remembered origins of the Gospels, and the authority attributed to living witnesses in the early second century.

Consciousness is not proof of God, but it is one of the most significant phenomena that leads many people to believe that a divine Mind lies behind the universe.
23
Consciousness does not prove God in the same way a mathematical theorem proves a conclusion. However, many philosophers and theologians regard it as one of the strongest clues that reality may be more than matter alone.
