Lula’s alleged runoff win on Sunday was statistically unprecedented, and the rule change that helped produce it wasn’t even allowed. Flávio Bolsonaro led the first round 47.03% to 45.16%. Lula then flipped it to 51.79%–48.21% in the runoff—the first time since Brazil’s return to direct presidential elections in 1989 that the second-place finisher from round one has ever won the runoff. In the prior seven runoffs, the first-round leader always finished the job. Brazil’s own electoral court president, Kassio Nunes Marques, said Sunday there was no rule authorizing the two-hour extension Lula used to fraudulently win and that “never, in the history of the TSE, has there been any extension.” The TSE is Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court, the body that runs national elections.
What happened in Brazil was blatant election interference. The same pattern of systems that allow fraud shows up in America. In Brazil, Lula used an obedient judge to change the election rules on Sunday so he could win. In the U.S., some Democrat-led states refuse to require proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. It’s a different fraud than what we just saw in Brazil, but it’s the same idea. The left will win by any fraudulent means necessary and then attack you if you call out their fraud.
In the U.S., California is the clearest example of constantly holding fraudulent elections and then calling you the problem when you call them out for it. When you don’t check that someone is a citizen before they get a ballot, as is the case in California, you are not running a legitimate election. That’s why the left fights every voter ID and citizenship verification law. It’s why they push for extended hours, drop boxes, and mail rules that make verification harder, then go silent when anyone asks questions after the fact.
It’s why federal elections in U.S. states that don’t require ID to register to vote need to be shut down legally until they do. It’s also why the election in Brazil needs to be annulled because Lula changed the rules after voting had ended in many locations and votes were already being counted. It’s fraud that’s easy to see and call out. The only issue is those who benefit from the fraud just pretend it didn’t happen or try to jail you for exposing it. That’s the real tyranny.
Lula is not a legitimate winner and should be legally stopped from taking power. All elections where the left runs them are illegitimate if they don’t require basic proof to register to vote and change the rules so that they are guaranteed to win. Trump beat Kamala in 2024 even with the Democrat playbook in place where illegal aliens could register to vote in California by lying about their residency. Trump won by so much that he overcame that California fraud and the fraud in many other Democrat-led states. But that shouldn’t be the standard way conservatives have to win, by overcoming the fraud.
There’s currently no check in place to stop the millions of illegal aliens in California from voting. Saying it’s already illegal and yet not having a system in place to stop it is pointless. And Democrats are already running this scam again for the midterms. Illegal aliens are still able to vote in California elections because nothing has been done to stop them from registering to vote other than asking them to check a box and be honest. Think of how insane that is, asking people illegally in the U.S. to be honest.
Any conservative politician who treats liberal politicians as normal negotiating partners is making a mistake. The left has shown in France, Italy, the United States, and now Brazil that it uses fraud, institutional capture, and selective enforcement of rules to hold power. That’s the method. The goal is permanent control. The left will never play fair, they do not want clean elections, and they will not stop until someone stops them. Sunday in Brazil was the latest example. It’s time for conservatives to legally act. Reject the fraud.

The Biden State Department involved itself in Brazil's election, threatening action if Jair Bolsonaro did not concede. Time for the Trump State Department to play by the same rules. Don't be cucks. The election was rigged and it must be done again, the legal way.

Wow
Let’s make sure the entire world understands. In Brazil, judicial rulings in connection with federal elections are made by the court that has been in place for that very purpose, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE).
@LulaOficial requested to the TSE that the polls be extended by two more hours in the entire country, citing “transportation problems.” Who controls the transport system? Lula’s government surely more so than a senator running for president.
Instead of waiting for a TSE ruling. @LulaOficial immediately asked Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) justice @Cristianozaninm to order the polls remain open WITHOUT any TSE ruling. Within minutes (did Zanin even read the filing?), the polls were ordered to remain open by Zanin.
The STF has 11 justices. What did Zanin do before becoming an STF justice? Oh yes, he was Lula’s criminal defense lawyer in his corruption cases.
If this blatant rigging of the elections will be used to announce that Lula won, is Lula seriously expecting anyone in the international community to recognize that as a free and fair election? He knows nobody will.
Has the desperation reached a point that today is the day the mask fully comes off and Lula becomes the next Nicolas Maduro? For the sake of Brazil, I pray that is not the case.

Brazil’s President Lula claims there was foreign election interference on social media and is already calling to regulate platforms. He already tired to ban X once. This is the man people are praising for beating authoritarianism. What an embarrassment.

Flávio Bolsonaro said on Sunday he’s challenging the election result and it’s the right move.
After the runoff he said it’s “impossible to accept the results of the elections in the context of how things happened” and that his team will “use the legal channel and request the annulment of these elections.” He called what occurred “unacceptable,” pointing to a Supreme Court minister changing the rules in the middle of the game, bypassing the electoral court, and extending voting by two hours. He said the decision produced a “total break in isonomy.” Isonomy means equal treatment and equal conditions under the rules for everyone.
That’s the correct response. Changing the rules while voting is underway isn’t a minor procedural note. It’s the kind of intervention that undermines confidence in the outcome, and Flávio is right to take it to court.
If the situation were reversed and a conservative justice had ordered a nationwide extension of voting hours in the middle of the day to benefit the right, the mainstream media would already be calling it a coup attempt. They would be demanding investigations, resignations, and international scrutiny before the final count was even finished. When Lula’s side does it, the same outlets treat it as ordinary administration. That double standard is the real story, and so is the need for the election in Brazil to be annulled.

No Bernie, Lula made his lawyer a Supreme Court Justice and asked him to extend voting by two more hours so he could get enough ballots to win. His lawyer (now on the Supreme Court) did just that and wouldn’t you know it, they got just enough ballots to win in those 2 extra hours. Many of the right wing precincts had already shut on time and couldn’t reopen quickly enough (or at all). When the same thing happens here, I hope you cheer it just as loudly. This only ends in revolution.

We can just tell the Brazilian army they don’t need to recognize the election results. Or at least, can suspend and investigate.
This is the opposite of imperialism. Yanqui go home. We trust Brazil to govern itself. As JQ Adams put it: the government de facto is de jure for us

Good questions
How come Elon Musk is the only one seriously talking about all these young people dying in the trenches for no reason and begging for this war to stop? Innocent young Ukrainians and Russian conscripts are getting blown apart by drones, losing their lives
And then you look at Europe. What do you only keep hearing from so many European leaders? More weapons, more ammunition, more military support. “We cannot let Russia win”
You almost never hear them seriously talking about how to bring peace and end this war for good
Why the hell aren't those same leaders putting that much energy into figuring out how to stop this meat grinder?
What are these leaders actually doing to stop young people from dying every single day? What are they doing to end this endless slaughter? Why aren't they putting the same urgency into finding a way to end this war instead of constantly talking about sending more weapons and how they should continue this war forever?
These are human beings. They have parents, families, loved ones, and entire lives ahead of them. And they're dying in trenches because of decisions made by people who will never have to experience what those young soldiers are going through
And that includes the poor Russian conscripts who have no choice but to fight. They're human beings too. Their lives matter too
How many more young people need to die before stopping this war becomes just as important as deciding who wins it?
Why does it take Elon Musk to keep reminding people about the human lives being destroyed by this war?
Seriously, where the hell is the urgency to stop all this killing? everyone who wants to continue this war is pure evil
Saturday was the slowest day of early voting so far. 459,735 Texans voted, down from 784,197 on Monday. 4.08 million have voted, which is 21%. That means 79% of Texas hasn't. Five days left. Make Monday the biggest day yet. Vote Republican all the way down the ballot.
