A most uplifting evening. Congratulations to all for a great evening. Always an honour to represent @BLieutenancy
Mukesh Sharma OBE DL accompanied by Lord Lieutenant's Cadet Robbie Jess has represented HM Lord Lieutenant at the RBL Festival of Remembrance. The @RIrishRegiment band, pipes, drums, led a wonderful programme of song and dance in tribute to The Fallen. @PoppyLegion
BBC NI piece on the pupils of Mitchell House School, Belfast, performing a song they composed themselves was brilliant. A lot of hard work by the staff and pupils to deliver such an uplifting project. @WellDone
Pleased to have had a tour of Carnegie Library, Bangor, hosted by branch manager Daniel, to celebrate Book Week NI. This library has much more to offer young and old than just books. Beautiful park setting with tasteful, modern, relaxing decor. Would recommend a visit.@uuponline
Thank you for those brave and revealing words. It really is good to talk, a message that will resonate with many others in a dark place. You are a hero on so many levels. You will win this struggle.
A statement on yesterday…..
Everything I said in that interview was true. However, rest assured I’m doing my best to turn things round.
I have been in a mental health clinic for the last 10 weeks, finally discharging so I could attempt to play in Belfast
I owed that to my family, in particular my daughter to see me play for what could be the last time….. I also owed it to the fans who have supported me throughout my 21 years on tour
I also owed that to World Snooker who have been amazing from day on in all this, in particular Simon Brownell and Neil Tomkins who have remained in touch regularly, even Simon paying me a visit in the clinic itself
I’m not ok, but I’m ok in that itself. I’ve been much worse in the last few months than you saw yesterday. I literally didn’t see a future in anything…..
My daughter kept me going, the therapists, staff and all the other patients were amazing and helped me through some really dark days
I see the light now that I couldn’t see before but I do now. I also know it won’t happen overnight. I’m a work in progress!!! My fight and determination on the table has always been there for ones to see. I need to show those same fighting qualities off it now for a while
Please don’t detract anything from Jordan yesterday, he’s been aware of my struggles and that can’t have been easy to play in but he handled it with grace and skill as I knew he would. Im proud to call him a friend
I hope the rest of the event is a success and I will continue my treatments going forward and then see what’s ahead
Thank you to every single message I have received on here, instagram, Facebook, text messages and WhatsApp’s, I’ve seen them all but a bit overwhelmed to reply right now. Just know that they have helped me a lot but I’m not going anywhere just yet!!!! I have so much to live for and this is only the beginning of my new journey
Also, I was not made to do any interviews, I was simply given a choice and felt I owed it to everyone to speak. The media team at WST have been incredible through all this too
Thank you all x
Sorry to hear the retirement comments from Mark Allen. It is important that Mark does what is best for his health and well being. I am sure that all who have followed and supported him during his career will wish him well and hope he returns to the table if he ever feels ready.
Justice Minister answered oral question from me today in the Assembly as to whether the PSNI will have to meet Drumcree costs from their overspent budget. Bill running at £5.5m but will increase as court cases kick in. Important NIO chip in to avoid more policing cuts.@uuponline

Our vice chair and chief executive lending their support to this campaign. Hate crime is completely unacceptable in all its forms, and tackling this issue requires an all-society response.
This @NationalHCAW put yourself in the shoes of victims and imagine the fear, isolation and distress they must feel.
If you are the victim of a hate crime we are here to help.
If you are a witness please speak out.

A challenging but fulfilling and rewarding career. Protecting life and property and contributing to every aspect of public safety is a fine vocational calling.
We're launching a recruitment drive for student officers and staff today - coinciding with our 25th anniversary.

A great chance for our Chair and Vice Chair to visit Ards & North Down District today to learn more about the hard work of the officers and staff. Thanks to Supt McDowell and Ch Insp Hutchinson for hosting us.
Heard a teacher on TV tell how local pupils in Victorian time had to bring in a lump of coal each day. A late elderly lady confirmed that story to me. If you also had a penny you got to sit closer to the stove. Thoughts with kids who couldn't do either. Layer up! Going backwards?
Question I recently asked, with Ministerial response.
To ask the Minister for the Economy whether it is still a priority of her Department to encourage and facilitate restoration of a direct air link between Belfast and a major airline hub in the United States of America.
Announcement made by Heath Minister, Robbie Butler, that thrombectomy services at the RVH is now available 24/7 is a major improvement in stroke care. This service has saved the life of many stroke victims and hugely mitigated the impact on their future quality of life. 1/2
2/2 Former Health Minister, Mike Nesbitt, worked hard to secure the £5m funding required to expand a service he recognised as being an important life saver in a highly pressured funding environment. Robbie Butler has now successfully delivered this welcome scheme. @uuponline

Many thanks to Year 11 Politics Class and staff @BangorGrammar (North Down) for taking part in our session and for discussing current issues with @alcham49 @ClaireHanna @StephenDunneMLA @petermartindup @connieegan94 @AndrewMuirNI @GildernewColm @RobbieButlerMLA
What a lift for us all. Northern Ireland young lions with a few old hands did us proud against Ukraine. Michael O'Neill has this squad of players buzzing and leaving nothing on the pitch. And what a travelling support! Can't wait for Monday. @GAWA
Considering all that is happened currently I think a very important deadline has slipped out of sight. That is the deadline of Thursday the SOS has laid down for the Executive to accept the financial deal he has put on the table. This needs extended given the current climate.
What a magnificent three points for NI in a game when they got little help from a poor referee. Bangor man, Josh Magennis proved once again what an impactive player he is coming off the bench. While done guys, a performance to be proud of
