If you followed the Trump administration's jihad against Anthropic over restrictive terms of use for Claude, then you're not going to buy its Ukraine blame-shifting to Musk -- as if Starshield terms of use are none of the administration's business ... nationalreview.com/corner/noโฆ

Anthropic will be very surprised to learn that the US government canโt direct a private company to make or not make particular decisions.
Replying to @lrozen
Rubio: โThe important point is we cannot direct a private company as to the decisions they make or not make.ย What I can tell you with certainty is the President of the United States nor anyone in our system ever requested that any changes to that system be made, and thatโs what we said repeatedly.โ
labs out front in model terms, but wonder what owning the work context does for msft/goog
pretty much every major ai company now has a personal agent product except google:

slowly but surely the competition is shifting from who has the smartest model to who owns the persistent relationship with the user. this will be even more the case going forward.
you're seeing this because we likely reached peak intelligence required to power most of the worlds workflows probably earlier this year if not late last year.
we're in this weird moment when anthropic did more rev in Q3 than Q1+Q2 but it's still a big question mark to many cautiousoptimism.news/anthroโฆ

Flint is the best-performing model in its class (MoE models under 50B) on agentic coding benchmarks like SWE-bench Pro v2, Terminal-Bench 2.1, and SWE-bench Verified.
It also rivals similarly sized dense models that are much slower to run.

During this election season, there has been a significant surge in entirely Fake Polls and Suppression Polls designed to do nothing more than interfere with the regular functioning of the electoral process and alter the normal patterns of voter turnout and enthusiasm.
Many journalists and broadcasters have been amplifying or airing these Polls without regard to basic journalistic ethics and without informing the public that those Polls lack a scientific, accurate, or even real basis.
The FCC takes these issues seriously. Broadcasters are prohibited by the terms of their federal licenses from engaging in News Distortion or promoting Broadcast Hoaxes. It is important that broadcasters comply with their public interest obligations. After all, the country benefits greatly when Americans can trust and rely on the media to report the news fairly and accurately.
Broadcasters are advised to avoid engaging in News Distortions or running Broadcast Hoaxes by airing Polls that would violate their regulatory obligations. If broadcasters believe they should provide their viewers with additional context and information about Polls they have covered, they can now take those actions consistent with FCC regulations.
