A great Irish poet and singer left us today. She was beautiful, courageous and wore her heart on her sleeve. She was before her time. Nothing will ever compare to Sinéad O’Connor. Rest easy Sinéad.

This. No funding, increasing need, no special school places, routes to diagnosis and assessment blocked or with extreme waits leading to school just being left to manage without the funding. School’s increasingly having very little choice and those that are inclusive hit hardest

This is an actual interior corridor of a major NHS hospital. In 2023. Who can look at this & pretend Conservative governments haven’t spent 13 years deliberately running the NHS into the ground?

Be clear, this is not about the BBC. The same way privatisation of the NHS is not about the NHS. This is about a corrupt, greedy and amoral Tory govt infiltrating and destroying public services. BBC and the NHS were the envy of the free world, until Tory’s corrupted them.

Judging by messages I’m getting @BBCMOTD in meltdown. Any presenter who agrees to replace @GaryLineker tomorrow night will be tainted as effectively a political appointment. Ditto any pundit.

This feels like an over reaction brought on by a right-wing media frenzy obsessed with undermining the BBC. I note the same cries of impartiality were totally absent when the BBC Chair failed to disclose aspects of his close friendship with the then PM bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64920557
