I think the current MVP restriction is good. It cuts out a lot of extractors or people that don't actually play the game and only care about extracting. I don't think the 3m bronze restriction is even that much... you buy 1 weekly pack or level up 1 symbol that's already 3m. Back then the amount of Neso extracted by players that aren't really playing the game were absurd that all field nesos were dry. @MaplestoryU
Replying to @Mattmaximo
Sounds like the MVP requirement (docs.msu.io/welcome-to-msu/m…). Spending NESO in-game can earn you MVP points. Once you have enough, you can trade on the marketplace. We added it to curb bots, but I get why it’s a pain for new and returning players. Looking for ways to ease that rn.

What a milestone Nvidia has achieved over the years. Back then I was only using 3080 and it’s still going strong. Good times. Can’t wait to swap to the latest model. #RTXON

[1/10] Here's what's next for Dynamic Pricing, the system that sets gear enhancement costs. I want to explain why we built it, where it has fallen short, and what we're planning to change. I'll focus on the big picture and simplify some details to make it easier to follow.

Thank you for the much awaited roadmap and updates. I’m looking forward to this update! Now we have something to fight together again as a party and whole! Let’s go MSU @MaplestoryU
[1/11] Ok, about that mood post. It's Moonbridge, the first area of Tenebris. It arrives on November 12 alongside a new boss, Gloom. This is where the expedition toward the Black Mage begins.

This Halloween event is pretty neat. We have sorta that coin exchange for more rewards such as exp coupon, symbols and such. Just wished we could get more exp coupons though. Bring back the pearl event :'( On the flip side, the neat Halloween costumes with the extra stat buff is really good although it just lasts for 2 weeks. It should give the extra boost for people who are struggling to clear the bosses. @MaplestoryU #NXPC

It's amazing how far we've come from individual servers to a cross-server bossing and raffle rewards. It's a really good change in terms of environment. Back then we use to have friends from different servers and the only mode for communication for us in on Discord channels or X. We weren't able to do content together such as boss runs and such. We were mostly limited by our capacity of convincing someone to hop from one server to another and rebuilding an entire legion and pre-quest all over again. But since this feature has been implemented. This no longer becomes an issue. I'm currently playing in Fang server where the player pool for end game bosses are very saturated with DPS players. There aren't much supports available except bishops. Since the introduction of this new feature, we were able to form much more flexible teams to tackle the end game bosses. Recently we cleared Chaos Slime with members from all 3 servers. Fang x Errai x Ains. This really solves the problem of not being able to find the right class for your party. Cheers to my team that managed to complete Chaos Slime this week with minimum clear. Looking forward to more cross-server features and events in the near future in MSU. #InterWorldLog @MaplestoryU Link for more info: msu.link/cmn/e8

πŸ’ Special Skill Rings are finally here in @MaplestoryU! For GMS players, you’ll probably know them better as Oz Rings. We also received the newer system where you can eventually equip 1 Active + 1 Passive Special Skill Ring at the same time β€” but there’s one important catch: Right now, our rings are only Level 1. Because of that, I personally don’t think it’s worth replacing your Neophyte Ring setup just to force a second Special Skill Ring into your build yet. The stat loss is simply too big. Once Level 3 rings become available, that’s when I would seriously start looking at replacing one of the Neophyte Rings and running a proper Active + Passive setup. So what should you actually use right now? πŸ‘‡ πŸ”₯ High-end / Best Options Continuous Ring and Ring of Restraint are probably the strongest choices right now. The problem? They’re also extremely expensive. πŸ˜‚ If you’re pushing endgame bosses and have the budget, these are definitely the rings most people will be looking at. βš”οΈ Mid-range Players For most regular players, I think Weapon Jump Ring gives a pretty good balance between price and performance. You still get a meaningful burst increase without needing to spend crazy amounts of Neso. πŸ’Έ Budget Players like me I’m personally looking more toward Level Jump Rings. They’re cheaper, they still provide decent value, and they’re much easier to justify while we’re stuck with Level 1 rings. Technically, Critical Damage Ring should be slightly stronger than Level Jump in certain situations, but the difference isn’t huge enough for me to justify paying significantly more. 🚫 What about Risk Taker Ring? Personally, I would skip it. The effect looks amazing on paper because of the huge damage increase, but the problem is that most bosses can still damage you even while they’re bound. That makes the ring much harder to use consistently. It can work very well against bosses like Chaos Guardian Angel Slime, but looking forward toward bosses like: β€’ Gloom β€’ Darknell β€’ Verus Hilla …it becomes much less reliable. So from a future-proofing perspective, I wouldn’t invest too heavily into Risk Taker. For now, my approach is simple: Endgame: Continuous / Ring of Restraint Mid-range: Weapon Jump Budget: Level Jump Situational: Critical Damage Skip for now: Risk Taker You can either buy the rings directly from the Marketplace or test your luck opening the ring boxes yourself. 🎲 Personally, I’ll probably stick with the cheaper options until higher-level rings unlock. No reason to burn all my Neso on Level 1 rings when we know better versions are coming. πŸ˜‚ What ring are you guys using right now? πŸ‘€πŸ’πŸ’ Special Skill Rings are finally here in @MaplestoryU! After lots of bossing over the past year and joining a myriad of parties. Sometimes, I feel it may be a little hard to determine during an entire boss fight how much DPM output was delivered by a single character/class. Most of the time we just run 3 min dummy in Mulung or 40 sec burst phase damage test to determine how much damage is being dealt, but this is only a reference point to the damage that can possibly be dealt. It doesn't factor that the boss may move, mechanics to avoid etc. Would it be possible for MSU to implement a damage meter or box at the party slot of easy reference? I know in Maple Story Mobile they have this feature. If this feature could be implemented in MSU as well. It would really help delve further into optimization of making parties and teams moving forwards. It's mostly just a simple QOL change, hopefully it can be implemented. @MaplestoryU @nexpacetime #NXPC
