i don’t even go here but i just wanted to say just because YOU yourself weren’t raised speaking a language with honorifics and/or distinctive formal language YOU don’t get to twist this into some crazy stereotypical narrative about koreans and their language/culture
Yunjin reflected on her adjusting to Korean culture after first moving to Korea when she responded with “okay” to her dance teacher, which isn’t the correct way to acknowledge that you understand to your elders:
“So, like in Korea, responding and acknowledging that you understood what the other person said is very important and it shows respect, but when I first moved here, I was not as aware of that.
I remember our dance teacher at the time had said something, and I responded “Okay.” She goes, “What did you say to me?” and I was like, “What? What do you mean?” She’s like, “You do not say okay to your teacher. Am I American?” and I was like, “Oh my god, I am so sorry.”
From then on it was just like, okay was super, super casual and not formal at all whatsoever. I learned that the hard way, never use “okay” to your elders.”

Miren aca voy a tirar una lanza por las coreanas, en mi experiencia fueron muchas las coreanas que tuve al lado que le ponían MUCHA onda, sobre todo a cantar toda la canción no sólo el fanchant, muchas gritan incluso más que yo y eso es mucho decir, es cierto que capaz no saltan tanto o bailan tanto, pero muchas veces es porque el tipo de asiento no lo permite, en Busan en el 3er piso, no te dejaban ni pararte porque era muy empinado. ADEMÁS la mayoría de los conciertos en Corea, en los asientos VIP mas cercanos al stage, son TODAS extrajeras la mayoría Chinas que van a grabar 100% y es asi porque ellas (las chinas) tienen mas plata y pagan proxy para tener buen ticket. Así que no sean tan malas, sí las coreanas son mas tranquilas que las latinas pero tampoco es que son unas aburridas como muchos piensan 💜🤘

Ao menos seja honesta, o que mais teve foi army entrando com processo contra a live nation por descaso com o fandom latino americano e ainda sim, AINDA SIM, vocês gringas mandaram a gente nos calar e agradecer a vinda deles (como se já não fôssemos gratas), além disso vocês nos tratam como animais dentro do fandom, isso desde que saiu a notícia das army bombs que queimaram estoque na América Latina e em seguida as desativaram antes de virem para cá.

i feel like what the person said was pretty clear. it has nothing to do with bts. the live yesterday proved it. chat is full of " ____ marry me", "JIKOOK JIKOOK JIKOOK" or "TAEKOOK IS REAL" or "speak english pls". and theyre mostly seeing that. there's a whole disconnect
