4% reply rate from cold emails.
here's how we found the messaging that works.
we launched 21 different campaigns to find message-market fit for a client.
instead of sending the same email to everyone, we tested different combinations of:
industries: finance, healthcare, hospitality, travel, etc.
job titles: founders, vps, directors, heads
company sizes: 1-50, 51-500, 500+ employees
messaging: different pain points, offers, and email angles
each campaign targeted a specific audience with different messaging.
then we looked at the data.
some campaigns got less than 1% replies.
others got 2-4%.
we doubled down on campaigns getting positive replies and stopped the ones that weren't working.
the goal was to figure out who to target, what to say, and which offer gets people interested.
once you find that combination, scaling outbound becomes a lot easier.
that's how you find message-market fit with cold emails.

cold email isn't dead.
sending the same email to 10,000 random people and expecting replies is dead.
right people + right offer + right timing.
that's how cold email works.
you're not making enough money because
1. you're not ambitious
OR
2. you're surrounded by wrong company
99% of the time, it's the later
imagine:
campaign A gets 200 replies.
only 5 are interested.
campaign B gets 40 replies.
20 are interested.
which campaign would you choose?

When you deliver 200+ leads for a customer
they send you this for Diwali Gift 🎁
all thanks to cold emails :)
this is how to build an audience on X
don’t hold any secrets
give everything away
you’ll attract people who wanna be your customers
Reach your entire market in just 3 months
(using cold emails)
and find the messaging that actually gets replies.
this works only if your market has 100,000+ prospects. anything smaller, and i wouldn't suggest high-volume outbound.
here's how i'd do it:
STEP 1: build lists + test messaging
define your icp. know exactly who you want to target.
build a list of 100,000+ prospects using blitz, clay, ai ark, etc.
enrich the list with verified emails, job titles, company data, and buying signals.
write 5-10 different email angles. test different pain points, offers, and ctas.
start sending 1,000-2,000 emails/day across different segments.
goal: find which icp + offer + messaging combination gets the most positive replies.
STEP 2: double down on what works
analyze replies from month 1. which segments are responding? which offers are getting interest?
kill the messaging that isn't working.
test new variations of your winning copies.
increase sending volume to 2,000-3,000 emails/day if deliverability and results support it.
goal: find message-market fit. identify 2-3 winning angles you can scale.
STEP 3: scale the winners
stop experimenting with too many new angles.
focus 80% of your volume on proven messaging and 20% on new experiments.
scale outreach to 3,000-5,000 emails/day, depending on your remaining market and infrastructure.
track positive replies, qualified opportunities, and pipeline generated.
by the end of 90 days, you should know:
who responds to your offer
which pain points get attention
which messaging gets positive replies
which segments convert into opportunities
what it costs to generate a qualified lead
the goal isn't just to send 100,000 emails.
it's to find a repeatable way to acquire customers.
once you find that, you can scale what works.
outbound at scale is not just a lead generation channel.
it's a market research engine.
