As we celebrate the Fourth of July, I’m feeling especially grateful.
As an immigrant, I have never taken for granted the opportunity to build a company in the United States. Eight months ago, Navan became a public company. Today, we are thriving with more than 4,000 employees around the world, serving customers globally. This is a testament to what is possible in a country that rewards ambition, innovation, and hard work.
This year is even more meaningful for my family as my wife, Alex, recently received her green card. It is another reminder of how much this country has given us.
Thank you to our employees, customers, partners, investors, and everyone who believes in our mission. Together, we are building more than a company. We are helping bring people together through travel, creating connections that make the world a little smaller and a little better.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸

Bill Maher just delivered the most clear-eyed, no-bullshit monologue on Israel & antisemitism you’ll hear from any mainstream voice in 2026.
“Israel was founded on the idea that antisemitism made a Jewish state necessary ... Can you honestly listen to this rhetoric and not see why that turned out to be true?”
One of many brutal examples: he called out Columbia professor Hamid Dabashi, who wrote that Jews have “a vulgarity of character that is bone-deep and structural to the skeletal vertebrae of its culture.”
Maher’s reply: “These are the kinds of statements Goebbels would have read and said, ‘No notes.’”
Then he turned to his own party and delivered the kill shot:
“Democrats, where are you? … Until you fix this issue, stop asking me why I’m harder on you.”
Bill Maher is perhaps the one person left in late-night television who still chooses truth over applause.
The rest are just cowards with good lighting.
Thank you Bill🙏

Wow wow wow. Take a minute to watch these incredibly powerful remarks from a Rabbi in London.
I’ll add - if you’ve never had to send a loved one an “are you ok?” text after yet another attack, kindly stfu.

On Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), the global Jewish population stands at 15.8 million ... still below pre-Holocaust levels.
By comparison, in 1939, on the eve of World War II, the global Jewish population was estimated at 16.6 million.

This chart puts the datacenter demands into perspective very clearly. Amazon has done more capex in the last 3 years than its entire history.
Right now most AI adoption is on chat tools that are relatively token efficient. Comparatively, coding agents, use orders of magnitude more tokens, but are only used by a small population today.
These same kind of consumption patterns are about to come for the rest of knowledge work as well. The demand to process tokens for agents is probably 100s of times greater than we’re realizing right now.
Expect these charts to keep going vertical.

I just got off the phone with someone who works in defense policy in Washington. What they told me should end every "Trump is reckless" argument permanently.
"Every single president since Clinton received the same intelligence briefing on Iran's nuclear timeline. Every single one was told the window was closing. Every single one chose to kick it down the road because the political cost of acting was higher than the political cost of waiting."
Trump got the same briefing. 60kg of 90% enriched uranium. 4 weeks to breakout. Material for 2 bombs.
He chose to act knowing it would tank his approval to 35%.
He chose to act knowing his own base would split.
He chose to act knowing NATO allies would refuse to help.
He chose to act knowing gas prices would spike.
A senior analyst I know at a major think tank put it this way: "The difference between Trump and every president before him isn't intelligence. They all had the same data. The difference is courage."
Read that again.
Every president had the same file on their desk. Only one opened it and did something.
I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

The Islamic regime has confirmed the death of 18 year old Melika Azizi.
Her punishment was rape and then execution by hanging.
Melika told the judge: "You let so many young people bleed. How can I remain silent? I don't care just kill me"
A brave young lady!
Now gone.
A crime

The depths of evil
For those mourning the ghoul.
The fall of the regime in Iran was predetermined on the day when a father was publicly hanged in front of his daughter for a post on social media.
In his final moments, the father kept smiling while looking into his daughter’s eyes, so that her courage would not break.
Who does not remember that scene — and hundreds of similar scenes that shook the hearts of people all over the world?
In a place where women have their hair cut off for not wearing a burqa, where they are paraded naked and beaten so brutally that they die in hospital in agony…
A culture and a system of values that treat women and children with such contempt and exploit them are doomed to destruction.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The man is Majid Kavousifar, who was executed in 2007 for assassinating a judge who had sentenced as many as 3800 people to death. Kavousifar assassinated the judge in retaliation for being falsely convicted of alcohol possession. He is not known to have had a daughter.

A brave local CBS reporter in Austin broke script tonight: “They don’t want us to focus on this… Well, I am.”
This is why you are not seeing massive pro‑Trump, anti‑regime Iranian crowds on TV. The Democrats’ foreign policy machine, NIAC and Trita Parsi types, and their friends in legacy media have spent years selling “engagement” with the Islamic Republic from comfy think tank chairs and New York Times bylines. They pose as experts, PhDs, and neutral journalists while lobbying for policies that help Tehran, not the Iranian people.
And it is not just the Left. Qatar money and access have also been working the Tucker Carlson, “no war with Iran” lane on the Right, shaping what some of the MAGA crowd hears about the region. Both sides’ are being influenced, from Ivy League campuses to D.C. think tanks and prime time shows, while while American national security and the security of the free world are put at risk. #Iran @marklevinshow @seanhannity
