11 years ago I graduated from @MSKCancerCenter. Spent 5.5 yrs at @UMichRadOnc and been chair for about 5.5 yrs at @UHhospitals @RadOncUH @cwru.

Across clinical trials and real-world cohorts, pretreatment hypoxia predicted poorer outcomes. In contrast, on-treatment hypoxia-associated TAM programs reflected therapeutic activity. Timing matters: baseline hypoxia and treatment-induced hypoxia are biologically distinct.
