It’s sad because, after 2022 Deji had it all layed out for him. He was a bigger name in boxing than JJ. I remember people saying he should’ve been main event for Misfits 001.
He fought 3 times that year, main evented 2 of those and the last fight that year was Floyd Mayweather. Had a scheduled 8 round bout before Gib or JJ. Singed a multi fight deal with Global Titans. More celebrities showed up to watch Deji than JJ had ever.
But What does he go and do after that?…..fights Swarmz and then takes a year off only to come back unfit and fight Dawood savage who he almost lost to…..wtf
