Plan to build Padi to Thiruninravur six-lane stretch remains non-starter. The delay continues.

The motor car of MEMU coach no 188438 & 188439 will be ready and the entire 8car rake will be brought to passenger service by March 2028. The procurement of the new propulsion motors for these motor car is processed, information soughted out through CPGRAMS.
@PMOIndia @AshwiniVaishnaw @VSOMANNA_BJP @RailMinIndia @RailwaySeva @GMSRailway @DrmChennai @DrLMurugan Sir, motor car of a MEMU rake with coach no 188438 & 188439, its motor is fixed to a steam loco to convert it as a electric loco and made to run in Gujarat as a tourist special between Ekta Nagar & Ahmedabad. But due to the missing motor of this MEMU motor car, the entire 8 car MEMU is halted idle at Avadi car shed for four years. Already due to shortage of the MEMU rakes, many MEMU’s are not converted into 12car rakes at Avadi car shed, in this one of the 8car MEMU which is manufactured in the year 2018 is idle without any use. Is this fair? Please do provide motors for those MEMU motor car and put that rake into service soon.

The AC EMU train between Chennai Central- Arakkonam fast service denied stoppage at Avadi irks Avadi passengers. It has become a regular habit for Southern Railway officials in denying fast local trains stoppage at Avadi. @AshwiniVaishnaw Sir please do the needful sir.

All set, the coach guidance , TV’s & 2 line display boards is going to be functional very soon.
Coach guidance & 2 line display board is now fixed in PF4 at Avadi, works are on to put up TV’s at PF 1,2,3 & also on the FOB along with another 2 line display board at the PF1 booking office. This work is expected to be completed by this week.

I think 120 and 40A have seen an increase in freq after AC buses have been added. But 47D route has been stopped, I think. @MtcChennai Should reinstate route 47D for benefit of IT employees.
Residents of Pattabiram wants the bus service to be restored which was stopped years ago.

@rajasimha123 Sir why the BJP members of Avadi are not requesting for the express train stoppage at Avadi inspite of Avadi being a major defence hub and also a municipal corporation which has the population more than the Tiruvallur, which is a district head quarters. Please request the hon’ble railway minister @AshwiniVaishnaw ji for the stoppage of train no 12695/96 at Avadi, which is a long-time demand of the residents of Avadi. So please take up this issue to the railway minister sir.
Finally the escalator at Avadi station PF2 is thrown open to public.

Does Southern Railway really cares for Avadi which is a NSG2 category station? Is this the priority given for an important station? Why is this Southern Railway officials are ignoring Avadi like this?
As per the RTI by our team reg this issue, it is stated that it will take another 3more months for the work to get completed. This is a pure negligence by the Southern Railway officials.
We earnestly request the Hon'ble Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw sir and @GMSRailway to ensure strict monitoring so that this three-month deadline is met without further extensions. Avadi passengers deserve seamless commuting!
