And he wore a tan suit, but that was Larry David’s fault.
First, this is appreciated from 🇨🇦.
Second, this man once put his feet up on a desk at the White House which caused some Fox News personalities to lose their mind.
Third and most important: I swear to people under-30 things used to be fairly sane at the top of the pyramid including those of both parties.
From OG immigration lawyer:
It the past, it was common for immigration adjudicators to ignore minor misstatements and law violations. This may have happened with “curls get the girls” Arnold and Madame M’s green card applications. Now you are forgiven only if you are MAGAT.
Canada has a government-funded program for companies who can’t get H-1B workers and employer-sponsored green card easier there. Sad for US companies.
PERM is basically a ritualistic process where firms conduct a "labor market test" to give their H-1B worker a green card so they can retain their employee. If a "minimally qualified" American applies for the job, the petition gets terminated. The American won't get hired though.
I'd imagine that these firms are going to respond by offshoring to other countries.
Sympathetic to this analysis, but isn’t Nvidia making a gazillion dollars?
Here’s this works. J. applies for asylum. He's denied, because he applied after one yr here with no excuse. He will be killed at home because he’s gay. Judge grants him withholding of deportation. DHS deports him to a third country w/o regard to whether he will face persecution.
Well said/Bien dicho

This visa revocation thing is performative. Apply for asylum and either your lawful stay will expire before you get a decision, making your visa invalid or, you get asylum and you don't need the visa. Plus, no one ever travels abroad with asylum pending.
Sorry, don’t think those are lots of years. I can’t message because I don’t the blue check

Seems confusing. If he is too left to be a Georgia Senator, why did they elect him. If they elected him, does that mean that he is NOT too left. All this election commentary has my head spinning.
Maybe I’m missing something, but isn’t 20 % of watch time for one company really a lot?
Shameful: The #BrokenTimes hands David Ellison op-ed space rather than challenging his bullshit pap and propaganda about journalism with the receipts he has already delivered at CBS. That would be journalism.

Ironic in that Ted Cruz was made a national of the U.S. automatically at birth. What a world, what a world.

As a kid, I saw Bo in San Diego when the Padres were a triple A club. I believe he was with Hawaii. Mamie was in the front row behind the plate cheering wildly. What a hoot!

He went from being a young Koufax style pitcher to reinventing himself as Tommy John type ended up 240 wins 👍
Saw him with the Boys 40 years ago. He was not well then, but did a fantastic job nonetheless.

Saw him play about 5 years ago at the CfL in Newcastle - he was not a well man then 🙁
“Through their retirement plan” is a tell. Even if the retirement plan makes money in stocks, in most cases the retiree DOES NOT get more money.
Yes @mcuban you’re right that 60% of US adults own stock directly or indirectly but what you omit to mention is that the richest 1% of Americans own nearly 50% of the stock market while the bottom half of Americans own just 1%.
