I feel like every day there's a new AI design tool, which in my opinion, is just a waste of time
We already have some amazing AI design tools with amazing teams, such as
@pendev
@paper
@usewonder
@MagicPathAI
@fountible
@claudeai (better than Codex in design for sure)
@magicpatterns
I don’t know where this new trend of hating on @Figma came from. We still use it daily at @flawlessdesignX , and I know plenty of design studios making serious money that do the same.
You know who else still relies on Figma far more than any AI tool? Enterprise clients, the whales with the big budgets. Their design systems, libraries, and handoff processes are built on Figma, and they aren’t ready to drop all of that for a super-optimized AI design-builder workflow.
Even Adobe is still huge in the bigger markets. Established players don’t disappear overnight, especially where teams, clients, and workflows are built around them.
That doesn’t mean AI tools aren’t useful. They’re great for first drafts, exploration, and speed. But right now AI is being added to the process, not replacing the system underneath it. For big organizations, consistency, governance, and collaboration matter more than generating a screen in 30 seconds.
Maybe in the near future we’ll start to see the shift. But for now, Figma isn’t going anywhere.

We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.

I know four or five teams struggling right now because they ignored my advice: invest in good design, whether graphic, product, UI/UX, or motion.
A solid design team makes your product far more appealing to users thus making you more money.
Something I learned this year
It takes 1 good client to make it forever, you get all the connections, all the best deals, everything
I think I found mine, locked in with them for the next couple of months, super hyped
