Pacific Crest Trail Day 70: 1602.2–1625.2 mi (23.0 mi / 37.0 km)

Just so there’s no misunderstanding, I want you all to know that I love India. One of my favorite countries in the world.
That’s stating the obvious.
But I guess you don’t understand that Japanese tourists eat at these places for the experience, not just because they’re cheap.

Super Commando is right. There is something for everyone in India. There is food at low cost and also food at high cost. Same with travelling and hotels. World class hotels and low-budget hotels too. With low cost, you "may" not get the best quality...
Pacific Crest Trail Day 100: 2298.1–2323.8 mi (25.7 mi / 41.4 km, Dewey Lake)

Japanese tourists often eat at dirty roadside stalls in India, then complain about stomach issues. Please spend a bit more and choose proper restaurants instead of open eateries. Even middle-class Indians avoid such places. Stop being so stingy when visiting India.
