The United States has never looked weaker or more ridiculous and incompetent to allies and enemies around the world than we do right now.

To the Carney haters/MAGAts slamming our PM for walking away from a trade deal with the U.S., why TF would we agree to these demands? This an attempted hostage taking.

American alcohol is coming back to Canadian shelves. But here’s the funny part… A whole lot of Canadians are probably going to walk right past it. You can put the bottles back on the shelves, but you can’t magically put the goodwill back in the bottle. Trump’s tariffs pissed off a LOT of Canadians. Welcome back, American booze. Don’t take it personally if we still choose Canadian.

This is a small anecdotal piece, but it holds a bigger truth. I never voted Liberal before this election. Still don’t call myself one. I voted for Carney and would again today. The “record numbers” and growing support aren’t coming from the usual base. They’re coming from people like me. Those people who weren’t in the tent before. He’s expanding it in both directions and actually implementing some CPC ideas to lower the temperature. To shrink the divide, and most importantly to do what is right no matter who thought it up. That’s not weakness. That’s governing. That's real leadership. The idea that one bad press conference or flub will make everything “crash” and suddenly it’s Pierre’s turn is pure loser talk. You can see it when you dare criticise Poilievre. One article, and his base freaks out. One headline and they swarm. The people that spend their entire day criticizing can't take an ounce of it back. Waiting for your opponent to fail instead of getting better rarely works. Telling the country it sucks rarely works. Posting videos of Trudeau isn't harming Carney. No boxing video or podcast is going to reverse the quiet, steady confidence real Canadians are building. No Twitter folks, but real Canadians. We are not perfect. There are real struggles. But having an adult working on them instead of campaigning for himself and to retain lead of his party isn't how you build a country. It's how you build yourself. Carney is working on Canada. Poilievre is busy working on himself.

Canadian ambassador Ken Taylor rescued six American diplomats from Iran. Gander Newfoundland housed nearly 7,000 American airline passengers during 9/11. We fought alongside Americans in both world wars and the Korean War. And this two-faced fuck has the nerve to call us nasty👇

Kevin Gausman said that he's spoken with the #BlueJays' front office about what the coming days could hold, but understandably did not want to expand on that: “We’ve had some discussions, and I honestly really appreciate the discussion that we had. I’ll leave it at that.”

🇨🇦On September 11th, 2001, Operation Yellow Ribbon was launched. Canada safely grounded over 200 diverted airplanes at 17 airports across the country, temporarily taking in more than 33,000 stranded passengers. We never sent a bill or enacted tariffs... We gave you, Canada.👇

From Osoyoos BC: As you can see, thick smoke is rolling in from the south & the smell of forest fire is strong. This isn't from a fire in Canada, it's from a big fire in Nespelem, Washington state, but we're not complaining. Know why? Because we understand how fire, wind, & the jetstream work. Hoping our southerly neighbors in Washington stay safe & obey evac orders. Prayers up for those in harm's way.

Jesus fucking Christ. This deranged fucknugget thinks Canada can just grab a fucking leaf blower and clean 350 million hectares of forest before breakfast. Every one of his fucking posts is another monument to spectacular fucking ignorance. Shove your tariffs up your asshole.

A brand new bridge between Detroit and Canada is finished and ready to open. It would speed up traffic for millions of trucks, cut delays for American businesses, and help the auto industry that employs people in every state. There is just one problem. Donald Trump won’t let it open. Here is why. The family that owns the old bridge stands to lose business when the new one opens. So in January, they gave one million dollars to a pro-Trump super PAC. Weeks later they met with Trump’s Commerce Secretary. He called Trump. Hours after that, Trump announced he would block the new bridge. The opening was set for June 12. It got canceled the day before. The bridge sits there finished and empty. Now here is the part that should make every taxpayer angry. Canada paid for the entire bridge. Every dollar. And the United States already owns half of it for free. Trump is holding up a bridge we got for nothing, to protect a donor who wrote him a check, while picking a fight with our closest ally and biggest trading partner. This is corruption in plain sight. A billionaire pays, and the President delivers. American workers and businesses pay the price. Open the bridge. A government should work for the people, not for whoever writes the biggest check. nytimes.com/2026/02/20/us/po…
