I don't walk away to teach people a lesson.
I walk away because I've learned mine.
Not every situation deserves another chance. Sometimes, walking away is the lesson, the healing, and the peace you need.
Know your worth. Choose your peace. Never beg for respect.

Living abroad will bring out DIY skills you never knew you had. 😂
I’ve bought drill tool kits and regular toolboxes, assembled furniture, built wardrobes, installed shelves and curtain rails, and drilled holes to mount TVs on the wall.
I’ve handled all sorts of home repairs and painted my entire house several times.
Things I wouldn’t even think of doing myself back in Nigeria.
Nobody needs to tell you before you learn. You’ll learn because you have to.
This is what some Christians are facing in Nigeria. 💔🇳🇬
I just watched a disturbing video allegedly showing a member of an Islamic group singing about getting AK-47 rifles to attack Christians in Enugu during Sunday prayers and kill more people in Jos.
Imagine going to church to worship God and having to worry about your safety.
This insecurity and fear for our lives are part of the reasons some of us left Nigeria in search of greener pastures.
Nobody should have to live in fear because of their religion.
How did we get to this point in Nigeria? 💔

If a person lost their job, car, expensive clothes and social status tomorrow, how many of their current friends would still call?
It's easy to enjoy someone's success. The harder test is whether you value the person when there's nothing to gain.

My prayer for you this week is that you receive that email you’ve been waiting for, the good news you’ve been hoping for, and the breakthrough you’ve been quietly praying for.
May this be the week you look back and say, “God really came through for me.”
🇬🇧 I have spent time reading the replies to this tweet, and I must confess, I now understand why some British people are unhappy about immigration.
Here are the major concerns raised by British people in the comment section. 👇
1. DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE
Many are worried about becoming a minority in their own country. They fear losing their national identity and cultural heritage.
2. HIGH IMMIGRATION NUMBERS
The number of people entering the UK and the speed at which it is happening are major concerns. Many believe immigration should be properly controlled.
3. HOUSING CRISIS
Some believe high immigration is putting additional pressure on housing, making rent more expensive and affordable accommodation harder to find.
4. PUBLIC SERVICES AND BENEFITS
There are concerns about pressure on the NHS, schools, social housing and public funds. Some feel British citizens are being disadvantaged.
5. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND CRIME
Many are concerned about illegal entry, inadequate vetting and crime. Several made it clear that they welcome immigrants who enter legally, work, pay taxes and obey the law.
6. CULTURE AND INTEGRATION
Some worry that immigrants are not integrating into British society or respecting British values, traditions and ways of life.
After reading hundreds of replies, I have come to understand that not everyone who questions immigration hates immigrants.
As an immigrant myself, I agree that these are genuine concerns that deserve to be heard and addressed.
But here is my question: How do we address these concerns without treating every immigrant as part of the problem? 🇬🇧
🇬🇧 As an immigrant living in the UK, I often see comments telling immigrants (me) to leave the UK and go back home .
I have always wanted to ask British people who share this view:
Is your concern about immigration generally, the number of people coming into the UK, or immigrants from certain countries?
I genuinely want to understand your perspective.
🚨 A GOALKEEPER SCORING A FREE KICK! 😱⚽️
How often do you see something like this in football? Absolutely unbelievable!
Is social housing not publicly funded? 🤔
My understanding is that many of us on UK visas have no recourse to public funds, which means we are generally not eligible for social housing.
