Manchester United have cut their scouting team to 10 first-team scouts from over 100, and Christopher Vivell is leading the way to fix years of bad transfer decisions. As director of recruitment, Vivell’s using a smart, data-driven plan to find the next superstars.

Russell what 😂😂 Wilcox is mandem
Before the FA Cup final win against Man City, Ten Hag was under major pressure and Jason Wilcox and others involved put forward several candidates as possible replacements.
One person Wilcox spoke highly of was Russell Martin, whom he had appointed the previous summer in his role as Southampton’s director of football.

The scary part about today's game is that the lower-intensity team is up against Don Gasperini's high-intensity, man-to-man pressing side.
Vivell was on Bayern radar
🚨❌ FC Bayern and Head of Scouting Nils Schmadtke have mutually agreed to part ways. The club confirmed that, “following discussions based on mutual trust, both parties have agreed to an early termination of the employment contract.”
He will leave the club on January 31, 2027. Schmadtke, however, has already been released from his duties with immediate effect and is no longer involved in day-to-day operations.
Max Eberl: „Nils Schmadtke has been a tremendous support over the past two years in the areas of scouting and first-team squad planning. As Head of Scouting, he has shaped the department with many new ideas. I would like to thank him for his excellent work and wish him all the very best for the future.”
Nils Schmadtke: “Working for FC Bayern was a special responsibility and a great honour. I am proud of how we have restructured scouting over the past two years, both for the first team and for the talents at the Campus. My special thanks go to my team for their passion, expertise and outstanding collaboration. I leave with a positive feeling and wish the club and everyone involved all the very best for the future.”

Keep an eye on Royer Caicedo (2006) 🇨🇴, who's progressively becoming an important part of Cercle Brugge's defence, having been a starter in 4 of their last 5 JPL matches.
Great profile!

Important people at Manchester United consider Unai Emery as the IDEAL coach to BUILD the future of the club. #MUFC [@FabrizioRomano]
the irony is that our experienced cbs are making more mistakes than the young lads, Yoro & Heaven. If this club still believed in developing its own, Armer, Kamason, Kukonki, Helefu & Amass would be getting first-team minutes by now. we've lost that identity.
