just watched AD vid. incredibly disappointing. so Project Vishnu wont get CCS nod until Pak is able to intercept BrahMos? what insane reasoning is this? have we completely given up on establishing deterrence against China? & not sanctioning forefront tech for economical reasons?

I have made the effort to write a counter to what was stated in this video by activist Katon Mayong. I don't question his sincerity or his passion in protecting his tribe but he has produced several misguided & misinformed arguments and it ignores a lot of ground reality. READ.
Anti-Siang hydro dam activist Katon Moyong (#Aborman), who was recently detained by the Delhi Police for #protesting against the project, has outright rejected the government’s invitation for talks on the #SUMP. Asserting that the time for discussion has passed, he stated, "No dam means no dam." Moyong also dismantled the government’s national security narrative, terming it a false narrative.

think about it for a second... the absolute deafening irony in Islamoleftists celebrating the democratic loss of a participant as a getback on behalf of an actual tyrant, and absolutely no commentary is presented on it from the liberal academic intellectual circle. nothing.
The U.S. midterm elections 😄

I have unequivocally condemned Hindu nationalism & applauded the students in the streets speaking out against corruption and for inclusion. My grandfather was part of Gandhi's independence movement and I believe in Gandhi and Nehru's vision of pluralism.

have said it several times, w/o gaand pe danda treatment paired with auto challan for breaking civic rules, we're getting no where. all these abhiyaans, clean up weeks, seminars, speeches by mantris, all are gimmicks. yes, ofcourse municipalities can be better but thats nothing.
India is probably the only country where people are more vile than government and deserve more hate. Was driving on an expressway, impressive work by gov in its beautification, but some dehati bus people littered their food packages on the road. Piles of trash flying all over.

if we take $15B from SUMP dam project and use it for 60% direct subsidy cost for a 3D NAND flash fab by Samsung worth $25B, and provide free land and other tax holidays alongside, it could give us pretty much a top-5 Gigafab in terms of capacity. @AshwiniVaishnaw please bhai
🚨🚨🚨big day tomorrow…….finally @AshwiniVaishnaw to formally launch the application portal for ISM2.O while more applicants to be approved under ECMS scheme !!! Really big news 🎉🎉

A fair chunk of my family and friends are Indian Americans, and I agree. They maintained for decades that they don't need to give a crap how India is treated as they are Americans. What they find is the bias has come home. They're in shock & disbelief. If they had lobbied for Indo US relations and cared about fixing misinformation about hinduism, they wouldn't be in such dire straits But they watched idly ny the sidelines as US campus spewed venom and pretended like it was scholarship. An area they should have dominated given the high % of Indian Americans in academia. This then spread through both wings and eventually reached their own doorsteps. Even now their reaction seems to be to distance themselves from H1Bs, offer no comment to anti India foreign policy, and beg to be treated special as they were "Born in the USA". It won't work.
Can't even feel sorry for Indian-Americans. They switched sides enmasse to the Dems after voting for Trump, and now the bigotry is part of the Dem machine. Actually, the prejudice runs deep, always has, on both sides. And Indian-Americans are disorganized.

🚨Big takeaways from CM Suvendu Adhikari’s address to social media influencers yesterday: 🪷 Zero Tolerance on Censorship: Strict orders against taking down nationalist content. The nexus between INDI-ruled states' police and IPAC agents inside cyber cells is being dismantled. 🪷 Clean Slate on Fake Cases: A dedicated OSD is being appointed to quash pending FIRs, withdraw politicized charge-sheets, and review active trials slapped by the previous regime. 🪷 Direct Escalation: Creators facing targeted legal harassment can inbox their details to Subham Mondal to be reviewed by Convenor Upamanyu Bhattacharya and the CM. No more fear, Suvendu Dada is always there for any nationalist & Sanatani from Bengal. The state will protect nationalist voices. 🚩

an aging, financially secured Trump w/ no third term possibility & 29' pretty much decided already, could become more belligerent. & choice between rabid MAGA & weaponised moralism of Democrats where Islamists are increasingly taking up space, isn't a choice worth thinking over.
1️⃣ Trump’s midterm setback offers India some breathing room. After tariffs, threats and insults, a check on his power will be very welcome. A reminder of what India faced in his second term: 2️⃣ THE TARIFF HAMMER: Imposed tariffs reaching 50% on many Indian goods, including a 25% Russian-oil penalty. Indian exporters became collateral damage in his pressure campaign. Rates were subsequently reduced. 3️⃣ THE ECONOMIC INSULT: Dismissed India & Russia as a “dead economies”. Said they could take those economies down together “for all I care”. (You remember who picked that up 🙄) 4️⃣ THE CEASEFIRE CREDIT GRAB: Repeatedly claimed he stopped Op Sindoor. India’s position: Pakistan practically begged for the ceasefire, there was no US mediation or trade bargain. He kept claiming credit anyway. 5️⃣ THE TRADE BLACKMAIL CLAIM: Boasted that threatening BOTH India and Pakistan with 250% tariffs stopped the fighting. His account reduced India’s military decisions to obedience to Washington. India rejected it. 6️⃣ THE KASHMIR INTERVENTION: Offered to help settle Kashmir after a supposed “thousand years”. Injected himself into an issue on which India has consistently rejected third-party mediation. 7️⃣ THE PAKISTAN EMBRACE: Hosted Asim Munir for an unprecedented White House lunch weeks after the conflict. India privately protested that Washington was sending the wrong signal to Pakistan’s military. 8️⃣ THE OIL TAUNT: Announced plans to develop Pakistan’s oil reserves, then suggested Pakistan might someday sell oil to India. This came hours after announcing tariffs on India. 9️⃣ THE MANUFACTURING PRESSURE: Told Tim Cook he did not want Apple expanding production in India for the US market. Then threatened at least 25% tariffs on iPhones manufactured abroad. A direct challenge to India’s manufacturing ambitions. 🔟 THE VISA BLOW: Imposed a $100,000 fee on new H-1B petitions, hitting a route dominated by Indian professionals. The rollout caused panic before clarification that existing visas and renewals were excluded. 1️⃣1️⃣ THE SHACKLED DEPORTEES: His administration returned Indians on a military aircraft, with deportees in handcuffs and leg restraints. Trump made the White House boast about it with music-laced videos. 1️⃣2️⃣ THE PERSONAL CONDESCENSION: Threatened fresh tariffs over Russian oil, saying Modi knew he was unhappy and “it was important to make me happy”. India’s energy security treated as a presidential favour. 1️⃣3️⃣ THE “HELLHOLE” REPOST: Amplified material describing India as a “hellhole”. India owes no American party its loyalty. The Democrats have low-key been as bad or worse in the past. But after his record of ‘big guy’ diplomacy, Trump cut to size will be welcomed by India.

leftoids never talk about oil exploration, energy projects to end oil imports, high-speed rail and track upgradation. they won't talk about how shielded India has been from shocks that have deteriorated much of the world. but will write endless slop about subsidizing air fares.

There's high demand and less supply and these airlines r incentivised to keep it that way. There is no reason that India which has 1/35th per capita income and 1/30th wages of US is practically paying the same amount in air travel

add 15K cr more and the budget would be $10B. order 10 units, and it would be $1B per destroyer, which is achievable.
₹80,000 crore. ~75% indigenous. 🇮🇳 Next-generation stealth destroyers. The Defence Acquisition Council’s in-principle approval for Project 18A is a defining moment for Indian maritime deterrence and heavy industrial engineering: 1. Deterrence in the Indian Ocean Region: • Counters expanding surface and undersea combat footprints across vital sea lines of communication. • Delivers futuristic multi-domain stealth-guided missile destroyers with advanced air defence, enhanced ASW suites and BrahMos strike firepower, ready to succeed retiring frontline platforms. 2. Domestic Industrial Firepower: • Conceived and designed in-house by the Warship Design Bureau. • Competitive bidding open to both Defence PSUs and private shipyards. • ~75% domestic content will expand tier-1/tier-2 supply chains across propulsion, sensors, radar electronics and specialised metallurgy. 3. From Buyer’s Navy to Sovereign Builder: • Capital warships cannot be bought off foreign shelves in a crisis. • Long-cycle programmes like Project 18A lock in domestic shipyards as true end-to-end systems integrators; and sovereign design capability for decades. The Strategic Readout: A blue-water economy needs blue-water deterrence. Project 18A proves national defence preparedness and domestic manufacturing muscle are now moving in complete lockstep. @DefenceMinIndia @indiannavy @SpokespersonMoD @SIDMIndia By @saurabh3vedi #IndianNavy #Project18A #DefenceManufacturing #MakeInIndia #AtmanirbharBharat

an engagement whore. no nuclear weapons are going to be used. they don't need to.
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.
