Albeit not necessarily a “sexy” beer-style, we stand by it. Smooth and creamy, yet beautifully balanced.

As a woman with 7yrs experience in the craft beer industry (all of my professional life, actually), this is the first time I feel like the acknowledged sexism in beer is being given real, meaningful discussion.
I just caught up with @MelissaCole & @ilikeotters on @BBCWomensHour.
There has been a lot that I have dismissed and excused, and not wanted to vocalise. The collateral damage of dignity due to craft beer “just being” a “male dominated industry”. How many times have you heard those three words? I have used them frequently!
It’s not good enough. Thanks for reminding me of this basic fact, @melisssacole and @ilikeotters, and thank you to @craftybeergirls for their ongoing and meaningful support of women in the industry, and space to vocalise, discuss and share.

Massive shout out to @ilikeotters for emailing Woman’s Hour and getting the issue of sexism, harassment and predatory men in power on BBC Radio 4 yesterday.
We can, and have already started to, shift the needle on the imbalance in the brewing industry, let’s keep going.
