When this place gets knocked down it’ll be an act of cultural vandalism. Should be on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Even more determined to visit La Bombonera so see how it compares.

It’s days like this that test your commitment. I’m soaked, cold, pissed, tired and waiting for a delayed train home. All will be forgiven by Tuesday night.

This reflects society as well as the Premier League. Simmering discontent across the world as the gap between the haves and have nots widens. Priorities completely out of step with what society actually needs and wants. Morally tone deaf!
I’ve supported Arsenal for over 30 years. I’m a season ticket holder and we’re successful. Yet I’ve never felt more disconnected from the club. I’ve written about why, and what I miss about the game I fell in love with. taproomnetwork.com/2026/10/1…

Hi, @Se_Railway - why am I getting this on your app. The route is open between Chartham & St Pancras tomorrow isn’t it? Break the journey down Chartham to Ashford then Ashford to St P and it shows as expected?

Was hoping for something more along these lines..
Was really looking forward to this but that stuff is disappointing.

Margate let a 2 goal lead slip against bottom of the league Punjab, who deserved their point, if not all 3 by the end. Margate were average first half, terrible all second. Booed off by some of their support at FT. Whitstable supporters will raise a smile tonight! #NonLeague

What do the owners do now. Their sportswashing vehicle now needs some form of sportswashing itself.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City found guilty on virtually all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations. #MCFC expected to appeal against verdict issued by independent commission. Sanctions undecided, process ongoing @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7049721…

What a week for my social life. No Bayern tickets, no Oasis code and unsuccessful in the World darts ticket ballot.

On to my 3rd game of football sat on the sofa. Had 2/3 bottle of Malbec, a roast dinner, glass of port & trifle to finish. It has been EXHAUSTING!

Good to see Kent clubs fairing well in the National League South so far.

I hope the end to influencers is close. Obviously inauthentic content, often unoriginal and utterly boring in most cases. A fad that has had its day.
Man City advertising for influencers to come and show everyone their “electrifying atmosphere” because their own “core fans are less likely to attend” Nothing screams authentic matchday culture like paying strangers to turn up and tell everyone how authentic they are

Fully grown men bringing inflatable Champions League trophies to the game. Terrace humour is in the pits.

And best front 3 in the country. I’ll take some convicting on that one. Arsenal better all over the pitch.

Faversham Strike Force, playing in Whitstable, attracted just 62 to watch their 3-0 win over Chislehurst Glebe. Once you take away those connected to the clubs, players or officials I’d guess that leaves pitiful actual support. Felt like a training session watching it. #NonLeague

Great win on the road for @HerneBayFC. Had to find the winner with 10 men and against some questionable refereeing decisions to the benefit of the home side. 9 goals in 3 games this last week - this team has certainly got goals in it! Deal 1-3 The Bay #NonLeague

The removal of anything that disagrees with middle class sensibilities from football continues. I’m glad I’ve been to plenty of games in the past because going in the future doesn’t look much fun.

Trip down to Folkestone to see how they are looking after stepping up to the National League South. Good point as I thought Chelmsford City created the better chances. Fairly even otherwise. Decent crowd of 1,120. #NonLeague

You can only hope they are going to run a train or 2 that actually depart after the final whistle or this is will become one pointless initiative.
